BS think he is always right no matter what happened.

BS is full of it.

Just wait till the next 8 games (1-9), when he changes the line up.
Minney will beat us on speed.

He is changing the lineup again?

I wish Byron would pair Davis up with Lin. I really want to see how much damage these two can do with a little bit more chemistry.

Pardon my ignorance but where did all of this stuff about Lin and Davis come from?

Crazy chemistry together in preseason. Never see the floor together in the regular season.

Hum... actually this made me realized something. Maybe not everybody realized about the chemistry that Lin and Davis show during the pre-season.

Before Nash goes down. Lin was playing with Ed in the 2nd unit. Ed would do PnR over and over again when they played together and Ed got a lot of easy dunk or layup from those. Even during practice the 2nd team beat the 1st team and Lin and Davis did a lot of damage in that line up.

During the pre-season, Lin and Ed both played really well. Everybody was pleased. Lin praise Ed's effort, Ed praise Lin saying Lin made his job a lot easier on scoring, always able to find him and give him easy basket.

And then when regular season started. Lin moved to the starting. And they don't really played much together since than. When they did though, it shows signs of their chemistry. but not as often as during the pre-season.

So for people who did not pay attention to pre-season. maybe the whole Lin - Ed combo thing is totally unknown

you also need to understand, team play preseason games differently, starters only play about half of the minutes and bench players played a lot more than what they will play... Which means Lin and Davis could play together for long stretches without Kobe... in regular season games, it is almost impossible....

Kobe is the best offensive player on the team and can make some of the best power passes on the team... but he is also a (dumb) turnover machine lately, not a good plan to have him as PG, already overplaying him and making him do way too much

Did someone actually take the time to make a video of Lin and Davis playing together in pre season games and added music to it ?

That's kind of hilarious.

I honestly think Davis should be with the 2nd unit because his FT shooting is so worthattrocious that they'd do Hack-a-Davis down the stretch. For that reason, might as well make Boozer happy and let him have his gig back. Davis and Lin would unite on the same line, our 2nd unit would be more effective.

you are absolutely right. Davis won't mind and Boozer will be happy. Lin will play more confident with more PNRs with Davis.

Even quotes from Nash can be found in which he explain he had to get used to not handlign the ball nearly as much cause of Kobe. Fine he was once the best O player in the league no longer and even if he still was, its cleary a strategy that doesn't work. They barely eeked out ONE win. I don't think I'll be writing home to mom about his win.

No doubt both of them can create shots and its exciting when one actually goes in. They are NOT however high percentage shots and not a strategy that will win. I have no idea what BS is thinking.

PostPosted: Thu Dec 11, 2014 12:41 pm    Post subject: Lin and Davis needed

The Lakers need Lin and Davis' chemistry. BS needs to let it develop, not yank either one after a single great play between them. 1-5 (Lin) isn't a bad game, its a bad quarter and a half. Lin needs more time to facilitate and get his drives and 3 point shot going. 1-5 after 3 more makes is suddenly a respectable 4-8. It won't happen if he's on the bench. Same with 3's. 3 point shooters go hot and cold, they time to get their shot going.

i don't understand why don't use Nash to help Lin and others with his basketball knowledge and skills but instead letting him play golf and still getting pay.

Because Kobe didn't listen to Nash so why would he listen to Lin via Nash? Kobe talks the game but does WTF he wants. We see it over and over.
