The "search" option isn't working too well, but if you can bring up one blast from the past, it has to be "Not signing T-Mac will haunt us for years to come". |

Real question is how would he affect JLin's game. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

F it.
Let's get the all 2000s team:
Nash (drag him out)
Kobe
TMac
Pierce

I don't care how old that team is...it would still kick the butt of the current team. Nash and Tmac will probably need a walker on the court though.. |

T-Mac still wants to be a Laker. Why couldn't he do this some where in the mid-2000's? |

Note: I'm sure Byron Scott likes him already, he doesn't want to stand in the corner and shoot 3s |
Mitch: "Okay Tracy. Sign right here on the dotted line."
Tracy: "First I want a guarantee that I won't be just stuck in a corner shooting threes."
Scott: "Don't worry. You definitely won't be doing that."
*Tracy signs binding contract*
Scott: "You'll take a step forward and shoot long twos." |

Like the MLS of the soccer world, where past-their-prime stars go for one more paycheck.
Only 5 more months though. Next year we turn the corner and start climbing back up. |

It was during the trade deadline during the 2006-07 season, when things were much like they are now, except with Kobe in his prime, and the natives were restless. This was also a time where LG was inundated with "insiders" that liked to oversell their sources or flat out just yank people's chains. Anyhow, one of them told the board to "buckle their seat belts" and that we were about to swing a deal to pair up Kobe & McGrady. Pandemonium ensued, followed by rage and memeing when it didn't come to fruition. |

If McGrady really can play, he would've been contributing to a team already. This guy cannot get away from the game for whatever reason. He's either feeling sorry for himself, embarassed that his peers are still getting minutes, or just wants attention. If he REALLY wanted to play, he would be relentless on getting back to the court like Grant Hill. Or even Kobe for that matter. It's sad that his cousin is still getting to play and he can't even get invited to a squad. |

At least it would be entertaining....
I'm not sure you can say that with the recent gameplay. |

This has the makings of an NBA Masters League.
The most common injury would be broken hips. Not sure I wanna pay money to see that. |

Why not, it'll put an entertaining product on the floor and people will pay for tickets to see what T-Mac has left in the tank.
I for one have watched the film of him in China. I remember when he was on the Spurs and Duncan said he still had it. I think he's still got the goods. |
