Looking at the tweets from Woj...Maybe Nash for Lance could be an option

Nash/Lin/Hill could all be attractive parts at the deadline that could net us back a nice player like Vonleh or such

Interesting that teams are asking for a 1st from Charlotte to take Lance.

Exactly. Putting up good numbers on a bad team. To his credit he's improved and its a great chance to get an asset. Unfortunalt have to wait until January 2015.

i know just saying. if we get Lance for Lin then we are good.

we still would have J Hill + Nash's corpse to trade for. if we can get an asset back like Woj said 1st from Bobcats, we are set

I would pass on Lance, he's not the same player without the great Paul George covering for him. He'll help us win a couple of extra games but we won't have a chance at keeping the top 5 pick. Hill should only be traded for a pick in return or with an expiring contract.
I'm all about the top 5 pick at this point, I don't want any players that are going to make us better this year.

Ridding Jhill puts Lakers in tank mode and if Lakers can get a high 1st rounder for him while being so bad the Lakers keep their top 5 pick, it would be a huge plus going forward this summer.

Randle, top 5 pick, another 1st rounder plus enough cap space to sign a couple star players to go with Kobe and Lakers are back in business next season.

Jordan Hill to thunder for Kendrick Perkins(expiring), Perry Jones, and their 1st. we get maybe a starting SF atleast Jones would be a solid bench player another asset in first. Jordan Hill and Steven Adams would make a good combo at the center position for the thunder. perry jones don't play much since he is behind durant. hell i would trade hill for lamb and perkins too if they didn't want to do that deal

they get a pf who can give them 13 and 10 and is only 27 yrs old. big men hold more value than wing players. also jordan salary is a very good contract

So far, Charlotte's been unwilling to attach a first-round pick to unload Stephenson. That could've kick-started conversation with Pacers.

I like that. J hill for Lance/1st/biyombo

would lakers do it?

How about Nash for Lance and a 1st? And at this point, the Lakers would almost be strictly doing it for just the 1st and a vague hope of rehabilitating Lance, who is proving to be a cancer. Lance's third year is a team option, right?

Give them Lin and the give us Lance and a 2nd.

i thought about it but they have Kemba and also brians is a v decent backup.

i prefer lin in that trade but no idea why charlottle does it

if we do this trade this means we are out of top 5

also if we do keep that pick we will have only around 13mil left on cap

We are already out of the top five, and it seriously doubt we lose more than the HORRIBLE teams at the bottom. If anything, Getting Lance makes us lose more. He's been insanely awful this year, and rumblings have started about him in the locker room.

He's one handed. Teams keep letting him go to his left hand. Once he's been scouted they'll sit on that side and see if he has anything else. Wolves suck too much for anyone to take seriously right now.

If the Lakers are interested I much prefer a Nash for Lance trade.

Especially if the Lakers can get a draft pick from Charlotte. Be thrilled with the 1st but even a Charlotte early 2nd has value. Probably no higher than 40th?

Certainly some risk with Lance being a knucklehead. And a loss of cap space with Nash's expiring contract. So much depends on if the Lakers can use the Nash contract on a better option before the trade deadline or in free agency next summer.

Lance would add some talent if he could get his head straight and play nice with Kobe. Imagine the trash talking in practice!

I continue to be surprised so many advocate moving Hill. IMO he is playing well this year and would make the perfect "first big man of the bench" if the Lakers are able to lure a free agent center or get the lottery ball to pick in the top 5. Hill can also play some PF mins as Randle adjusts and Boozer moves on next year.
