In our house, we watch a lot of Bucks hooks. Got family out there, so a connection.

The Bucks (11-12) are starting to improve. They have put together one of the best - and unusual - current, young front courts for watching. Of course, they've had the draft picks to succeed, true, but that's proven no guarantee of smart picks around this league. Through draft and trade over the last few years, they've accumulated an attractive front court:

2014 #2, Jabari Parker, F
2013 #15, Giannis Antetokounmpo, F-G
2012 #14, John Henson, F
2010, #15 Larry Sanders, F-C

If they could get more guys healthy (what a familiar story), the Bucks have some additional veteran backups Pachulia and Ilyasova, which make this front court a big step forward for the franchise.

Take a look-in sometime. The Bucks have improved. Some. That back court ? Well, Giannis Antetokounmpo is filling in as a point-forward, but unless Jason Kidd can drop 15 years soon, the Bucks are gonna want to get some help among the smalls - soon. Kendall Marshall is hanging around ...

Three starters drafted in five seasons. Nice stuff.

Consider... all the years the Bucks were in a drought... luck has diff caught up with them..... now it's up to there management to put it all together... I don't even remember the last time the Bucks were in the Finals... or ECF for that matter.

And snap, just like that, the world falls apart for the Bucks again.

That unfortunate trend of wicked first season injuries to high lottery draft picks just ... keeps ... on ... rolling.

2014 - Jabari Parker (ACL tear)

2013 - Anthony Bennett (shoulder compression)

2012 - Anthony Davis (knee sprain)

It's been tough to be a Bucks fan.

Last ECF (loss), 2011

Last Finals appearance (loss), 1974

Wilkes52, give us a scouting report on Brandon Knight.

A few of us here want the Lakers to go after him even though he's a RFA.

What are his strengths and weaknesses? What are the odds that MIL matches? Does anything change with Jabari being out?

SG in a PG body. Poor instincts.

This.

I see him a better Jordan Farmar. He's essentially a scorer from many court positions who can also distribute somewhat. He has a very strong body, rebounds well, and is pretty athletic all around, but is not the leaper Farmar is. He tends towards making a lot of turnovers with what appears to be late, forced passing decisions. Doesn't seem in synch with the players around him much, methinks because they never know whether he's gonna shoot or foist, and he waits a long time to make the decision himself.

None of these great, young draft-heavy teams ever amount to anything; not the early 2000's Clippers, not the 06' Blazers, not the Thunder, and probably not these Bucks.

Can you guys see him fitting in with Randle? I think him being a combo guard plays nicely with Randle's ability to be a point forward.

That's only because OKC is a penny pinching small market org. I have no doubt that if they had kept Harden they probably would have gotten back to the Finals and maybe even won one or two. Imagine if they had held on to some of their young players.....a starting five of Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Green, and Ibaka would've been the best in the league.
