Since this Monday any trades can open up to include players signed over the summer. And rumors of potential trades and disgruntled players is beginning to increase.
Curious of the specifics the potential use of the Nash contract under the rules.
Can they still use the entire $9+ million in a trade? Or at all since they received an injury exception earlier this season? Combine with another player?
Basically how exactly can they use his contract if they choose to? |

| The injury exception expired and we never used it, so its basically like we never had it. We can trade his full salary. Thats my understanding. |

The injury exception hasn't expired, a roster exception did. We will have Nash's injury exception all season. And we can either sign someone for about half his salary or trade him. To answer the OP's question, we can use his full salary in a trade.
