So over the past year or so, I've been involved with 3 different women to varying degrees (not at the same time).
Due to conflicting work/school schedules and/or life circumstances, none of these women were ones I saw every day. More like once a week.
They are all very different people but I've noticed one habit they all have in common, and I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or if most women do this. They always ask me what I ate for my past meal, what I am currently eating, or what I am going to eat for my next meal. They don't ask for any particular reason other than curiosity as far as I can judge. I don't have any significant health problems that require a restricted diet. I'm a pretty young, active man.
I feel like constantly asking me about what I'm eating is a little intrusive and flat out annoying. I also feel like they might be secretly judging me.
Do most women do this? And if so, is it wrong or unreasonable of me to be so annoyed by it? _________________ ...in my opinion.

That all depends...
What are you eating?
Pretty much anything. I don't have the healthiest diet, but I exercise and watch portion sizes. And it's not like those women have diets that are any more or less healthy.
One of those women in particular was constantly nit-picking what I eat and she would always talk about wanting to eat healthier for herself and trying to get her kid to eat healthier. And then right after, she'll go to Del Taco and get a fatty burrito and give her kid whatever she wants and then take her out for ice cream.
It's just annoying because I never give any of them any (bleep) about what they eat. _________________ ...in my opinion.

I wasn't sure what to have for dinner but since you mentioned Del Taco I think I will go there.

Haha. That certainly isn't unheard of, trust. Man, I knew 2 LG posters here (you'd recognize the guy, the female is gone) who hooked up and he would complain to me how she would be on his ass constantly about what he ordered. EX: If he ordered a cheeseburger, he had to hear the sh about them not being healthy, etc. She got worse as time went on and precisely as you stated, this particular chic gained a bunch of weight in their relationship from what he said, so most of her comments re: his diet were hypocritical and done in a period where she herself was on a reasonably good eating kick (that didn't last all that long). Do you get comments about drinking soda or regular beer? If it gets to the point where you feel they're actually trying to mold your diet into something that -they- approve of, beware. Then it becomes a minor example of them trying to wield power over you personal freedom of choice, and that's a slippery slope. The guise behind that is that they "care about you". If you're asked what you had for dinner the night before, it couldn't hurt to say "ah, nothin much, I can't really remember, not important" and move the convo along. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

Yeah stay away from those kind of broads. Sounds like a fatty in the making.

I don't think it's unreasonable to be annoyed by it. I would be (and have been) too.
The reason they're asking you is because of this whole health movement. It's got a lot of people with a holier than thou type attitude. You know, the crossfitters, the supplement takers (namely the ones that take a specific brand like Advocare), the cyclists (ugh), the gluten-free crowd, the non-GMO folks, etc. Everyone is a qualified nutritionist now you see. Haha.
My girlfriend is personally obsessed with talking about food and planning our next dinner date. Her friends talk about food a lot, and go out to eat a lot. My girlfriend asks people about food they ate too.
Maybe it is a girl thing. I don't know why you are annoyed by it though. Maybe women just sense annoyances and try to desensitize you towards them

Your mother.
Well that escalated quickly.
Well, at least he was nice, he said "Your mother" instead of "Yo mama." _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
