Fortunately for us the team cannot play any worse than it did against the lowly Pacers. The team had no energy from start to finish.

Are you sure about that? We are only done with 1/4 of the season so far....

This headline/article/link says it all about last nights game:

Lakers post worst performance in a half since moving to Los Angeles

Quote:
One night after Kobe Bryant‘s historic scoring milestone, the Lakers reminded everybody that they’re not a good basketball team.
They lost 110-91 to the Indiana Pacers, and it wasn’t really even that close. Most of that is because they had their worst half in 54 years.

NOW THAT'S UGLY!!

D'Antoni's teams could do offense. His problem was D which BS was supposed to fix. LOL on that.

Upon further reflection as long as Lin gets significant minutes he is probably better off with the 2n unit. Bryant slows the game down way too much. It totally takes away Lin's (and perhaps the teams) game. Now if only Ed Davis could be returned to the 2nd unit. A good coach could manage the minutes and rotations so much smarter.

We need to get Isiah Thomas from the Suns, think they' d bite? Give them Lin.

The Suns run. Its great for a quick guy like Thomas. In BS/Kobe stall ball he'd be lost. Even Nash in his first season here, while playing 33 mpg his assists were down 4 or 5 from his average? The ball is in Kobe's hands, there is no PG on the Lakers.
