Don't know, I'm going to need 2015 to compare. Ask me next year.

Lots of trials and, as a result, personal growth.

Lost the Uncle that took time (being a lawyer, he didn't have much) to take me to see The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as a kid. He had no kids of his own at the time.

My Mom and Pops remain in good health after some scares.

Think I met my future wife.

And I'm genuinely thankful for and enjoying each hour as it comes ... ups and downs, tumult and eventide.

Yeah, good year.

Depending on how that shakes out, we'll ask you the question again in 2020 or so.

It was an average year. Nothing noteworthy. I got my first grey hairs.

pretty decent I think.

Settled into my new firm pretty well.. I think the change was rougher in the beginning of the year, but I feel right at home now.

Went to brazil for the world cup and it was a blast.

finances took better shape than usual even with the aforementioned $7k trip (shrug =x), but I had been saving for it for 4 years.

still with my gf and I think we are getting ready to take the next step, she passed her state/national license tests for dental hygiene and got a steady job.

Had some good moments, some not so good moments.

Good:
Was promoted in January, got a nice raise and a bigger team to manage.
Moved closer to my family's home mid way through the year, and as such have been able to spend a lot of time with my niece and 3 nephews, which has been so much fun.
Have also been getting to spend a lot of time with my homies, which has been cool too, went to Prague this year which was crazy, had such an awesome time. Got some good rebound fun in there too.
Sold my house in London at a very nice profit, of which my ex got absolutely nothing, which was very satisfying.

Bad:
Turned 30 this year. Good thing is I'm still in decent physical condition though.
Broke up with my long-term girlfriend and moved out of our house (that's why I came home). She was playing around on a brother, which just isn't cool.
My aunt passed away. Was unexpected and hit our family quite hard.
My grandfather, who was my hero and closest friend in the world passed away, that really messed with me. I been dealing with this for the last couple of months, and it really puts other things into perspective and makes you realize that some of the things you stress about just don't matter that much in reality.
Broke 3 of my ribs and fractured my sternum in a football game, which really didn't feel too nice. Haven't quite reovered yet, but have been able to resume training and played my first match this weekend past.

It's always a good year when you welcome a new addition to the family.

I was recently laid off from my job after 14 years. Christmas will be challenging. But I have a great old lady and a beautiful 9 year old daughter with her. I had a great 2014.

Merry Christmas LG.

It's threads like these where I wish LG had a +1 or LIKE feature.
