Trade restrictions lifted for some Lakers:

Quote:
I's unclear if the Lakers will be willing to make any significant moves this season, but as of Dec. 15, a number of Lakers became trade eligible.

Nick Young, Ed Davis, Wesley Johnson, Ryan Kelly and Xavier Henry, who signed contracts over the summer, can now be traded by the Lakers.

I never though about that scenario; that would be quite interesting.

I think Utah values a cheap, cost-controlled Rudy Gobert.

If that happened, I would make drive to El Segundo and personally make Mitch a sandwich

Honestly, I think you are right about that.

Plus, they have Kanter's RFA coming up and keeping Gobert on a bargain contract helps lessen the blow of possibly losing him.

Nash, Clarkson, Sacre, Price, Houston pick for Rondo?

Nash, Lin, Houston pick for Smith and Knight?

I wouldn't mind trading Randle for the right piece either

Would you trade Rudy Robert for Ryan Kelly and a 2nd Round pick?

Maybe he likes oft-injured players who went to Duke and are married to an ex-Steelers head coach's daughter?

I believe Utah also places a premium of certain types of basketball players (hint, hint, nudge, nudge)

Yes. Guys like Favors, Burks, who were recently given large extensions.

Are there any other international bigs out there with potential like Gobert? Having a piece like him or Gorgui Dieng is invaluable. And it's such a waste to them on teams that will never develop like Minn & Utah smh

I will not mind adding Ed Davis in a big trade, I think the coach we have can't use him properly and he's likely gonna go for a bigger deal in the summer... I love Ed... but he's not a good fit here.
