I'd take him or any other All-Star has been that hasn't played in 2-3 years. Hell, I wouldn't complain if they signed Baron Davis.

Bo mccalebb was a better gamble than price. All you have to see is how he attacked Rondo and the celtics, and that's how he plays - full blast all the time on both ends - no fear. Kobe would love that guy.

Ronnie Price is the worst starting PG the Lakers have ever had.

Nash for Rondo?

The Lakers front office is in never never land.

The only way to bring the Lakers back is can Mitch Kupchak.

And take the long term route. Build through draft choices and make wise decisions. Get good free agents. don't have to hit a home run. But a single or double will do.
Don't try to do it all at once.

Hire a super scout who really is a good judge of talent.

Put Kobe on the staff after he retires hopefully it will be after next year or he
comes back for 8M.

I kind of feel sorry for Price. He had a non-guaranteed contract (now half-guaranteed). I don't think he, after so many years, had the aggression to become a starter. He probably just wanted to try his best, keep his job, not get cut, and get paid.

It's not his fault that the idiot coach put him in as a starter, gave him big minutes, put him in the spotlight and exposed him.

I don't fault Price. He works hard and is a steady 3rd string situational PG.

I fault Byron.

I agree with this.

I don't think Ronnie Price has any false illusions about his potential on this team, but like anyone else, he will fight to keep a spot in the NBA.

He comes across as humble, and I suspect he fully realizes how lucky he is to be given this type of opportunity only because Byron Scott is coach of the Lakers.

Agree, Price must feel much more pressure now.

He did look a bit nervous taking those free throws last game, but part of that is because Lakers, as a team, aren't doing well right now.

I'd say he is just more overmatched playing against other team's starters more than anything else.

He looks pretty comfortable, and effective, with the second unit.

seriously its getting bad. i gave Price a chance, but he is a legit scrub. he's doing NOTHING for this team. tanking or not tanking, if we can't find a better solution at PG than Price, then something is really wrong. he can't continue to start, its embarrassing. JVG in the Spurs game last week said Price had been a career 2nd-3rd string PG, yet he was starting for us. nuff said.

Good idea! when Kobe retired at 40, Price will take over at 36.

His jumper is a work in progress.

Jordan Clarkson Needs Time, Ronnie Price Doesn't
Since being named starter three games ago, Price is shooting 15.4% from the field, 11.1% from the three-point line, averaging 3.7 assists, and has an atrocious 71 offensive rating.
His true shooting percentage, which takes into account free throws and the added benefit of a three-point shot, is a blistering 19.2% in that three-game stretch.

Haha, that's definitely Byron's plan.

So Mitch loses out on Rondo and retains those draft choices you value so much and you want to can him? Interesting twist of logic there.
