He's now listed as Questionable for tomorrow...what was he listed as before?

Lakers center Tarik Black has been listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Spurs, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Black suffered an ankle injury Monday and missed Wednesday's game. He was a limited participant in practice Thursday but appears set to sit for a second straight game Friday.
His next chance to play would come Sunday at home against the Rockets, the team with which he began the season.

Los Angeles is a 13 1/2-point underdog in San Antonio Friday.

Tar could've been starting instead of Sacre if he didn't get injured.

We need one of our young guys to emerge as a quality starter at PG, SF, or C, and I'm putting a lot of faith in Tarik to become that C.

I want to see him start a bunch of games right now. There is a very good chance we completely miss out on C's in the draft or free agency, so I'd love it if Tarik could be the starting C.

Let's hope TB can become a Howard type C but I doubt it. I think we will need a true 7 footer to man the starting line up.

But I do get your point, Lkers have a lot of holes and if one could be filled from within it would be great.

Black is going to be a great first big off the bench moving forward. He can competently play the 4 or 5 because of his motor and strength. Love the guy. Mitch needs to be applauded for essentially drafting Randle, Clarkson, and now Black this past season. Give me a starting center in the D. Jordan or Gasol tier and I'm really liking our frontcourt. That's assuming Randle develops into the nightmare matchup at the 4 that I'm expecting him to become.

It's nice to see he can bounce back from injury quickly. Now give him huge minutes already.

that's good news, the way he went down it looked like he'll be out for a couple of months, glad it wasn't that serious.

Somewhat surprised but definitely happy to see Tarik back in action.
1-1 shooting for 3 points & 5 rebounds in 7+ minutes;

DECENT play when you consider the injury and limited practice the past week or so.

The Tarik Black and Ed Davis combo was fantastic. We need to see more of it. Pure defense and rebounding and hustle.

Start Tarik and Ed Davis, trade Hill.

TB is more of a banger; Whiteside is taller and more of a rim protector.
