Yep, it's Black:
@Lakers: Tarik Black will start tomorrow against Milwaukee in place of the injured Jordan Hill.

Predictable.

TB started and played 15 minutes of decent ball. But we need a little more from him.

2-2 for 5 pts, 4rbs.

2 to's and 3 fouls

Do you honestly think he would single handedly make the difference between wins and losses if he was at C?

One more point would have won this game, so yes, incremental improvements make a difference.

Small differences could make this team a little more efficient. But they'd still be a bottom 4 team regardless.

Anyone happen to know if Tarik was asked about what it was like for him to guard Lebron this afternoon?

Tarik needs to start at C, not PF, and definitely should not be guarding a ball handling SF/PF like Lebron.

Just because he is undersized doesn't make him a forward. He's produced his best stats when playing C.

Sacre should just come off the bench as the backup C, and we can start Ed Davis or Kelly at PF.

Sacre was the weak link out there no doubt.

FFS just play Wes at the 3, Kelly at the 4 and Black at the 5 And bench Sacre for crying out loud! It's too darn obvious.

B Scott is far too seasoned of a tank commander to make a rookie mistake like that

Portland game assessment:

Black -- -- He wasn’t even an afterthought in the offense. Clarkson ran everything through Sacre, it seemed. Black’s first shot came with under 2 minutes left in the game on a pass from Sacre out of the triangle. He worked the glass and played solid D, blocking a couple of shots. Nice to see he’ll still put in the work even if he’s not included in the offense. That is much appreciated from a bigman. The Stats: He didn’t score on 0-1 shooting to go with 8 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 3 fouls in 24 minutes. He was a -9. The Action: He rejected Lopez’s dunk attempt on help D, so nice. He tied up a man on an offensive board but couldn’t win the jumpball. Second Half: He missed a weakside elbow jumper out of the triangle. He blocked a drive on iso D.

Not injured, just a casualty of Coach Scott's weird line-up change schedules.

Tarik Black needs & deserves more playing time in order to improve and be properly assessed by the FO & coaching staff.

Put him at center and see what he can do. At Houston he filled in admirably for Howard; surely he can do the same or better with the Lakers.

He was ranked in the top 10 rookies but now he can't even get on the floor. REALLY

Coach Scott stated that the OKC bigs outplayed our guys.

Quote:
"I thought their bigs were much more aggressive and much more physical than ours,” Scott said post-game. “All of our bigs got pretty much outplayed tonight.”

Well with that being said why didn't he at least give Tarik Black a chance to see what he could do.
After all he is the most physical player that we have. SMH
