You guys go ahead with that.
Just trade Lin to the Kings while they wait to hire George Karl.
You guys enjoy and good luck with Ronnie "10 year career 3.5PPG" Price. |
Why do you have to trash Price to prop up Lin? |
Maybe because a few posters were praising Price to thrash Lin? Both sides are not right but I don't understand why people can't just praise Price for playing a good game tonight without feeling the need to take shots at Lin. This are the same people that constantly say how bad Lin is and keeps quiet all the time waiting for a Lin mistake so that they can do their "I told you so" routine. They are also the same people wondering why people support Lin and yet they are always there when Lin is brought up as a topic. If you don't think he's good, stop going out of your way to look for him maybe? Both sides need to chill a little, the overzealous lovers and haters. |
If anything Lin fans have been taking shots at price every chance possible all season long including preseason. It's no wonder why people might trash lin when bringing up price playing well. |
One Lin fan makes a comment and you guys write essays about it.
I see a lot of Lin fans praising Price tonight. |
I'm not talking about tonight I'm am talking about all season long, pretty much every game and even in games where he plays well. God forbid he makes a mistake in the game thread. A whole host 2014 posters will have a comment to say about it. |

I removed my post. I do agree with you though, Price has been playing very well as of late, doesn't deserve to be bashed tonight. |

Guys that have been heating up for the Lakers: Boozer, Price and Wes Johnson! Kobe with a very nice game minus the TOs. |

Nate is kind of like Vinnie the Microwave Johnson, he gets really hot in spurts. |
That one rainbow three he made was pretty amazing. He can be fun to watch when he's on. Just a really undisciplined player who can't control his emotions though. |

The starters finally put it all together. Besides Boozer & Ellington the bench didn't fare as well.
Swaggy P & Lin didn't have it tonight but I expect them to bounce back next game.
GOOD WIN, GO LAKERS!! |

I can't figure out why he hasn't tried to play like this more. It would be so much better for him. |
Cause Kobe doesn't get these calls everytime, he's not Harden. |
What do calls have to do with it? |
Calls matter a lot. When you get the shooting foul calls your shot is not counted as a FGA unless you make it. If you're Kobe and you usually don't get the calls while being mugged, your % would probably drop and your shot attempts would go up. |
His shot attempts go up when he......takes more shots
He was sharing the ball with his teammates and as a team, they were all taking good shots. He doesn't need to ever go one on five, these guys can score. But if they play off of him all day, he can take 30 shots and that's perfectly ok. They are best when he plays within himself and doesn't force things. |

I've seen a lot of nasty posts directed at Price simply because the coaching staff decided to start him over Lin. Price played very well tonight. He's played very well a number of games. Give credit where it is due. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

I agree that Price played well tonight, but the issue for me is he sometimes has some rather awful, almost unforced turnovers.

Not a surprise, they expected their boy to shine and Price took that shine away by doing whatever it takes to keep the starting job with good performances. If anything he is making a better case to showcase his skills for his next team whomever that may be. |

To be fair, Price did stink up the joint the first half dozen games as starter it's only lately that he's gained a lot more confidence in his shot and has been playing really well. You don't remember his stretch with 0,0,2,3 pts? (something or rather). Until recently he was shooting like 20% from 3's so BS did deserve the scrutiny for the change.
Anyways, props to Ronnie Price who's been playing great lately.

I hope this is the Kobe we see for the rest of the season...we can still make the playoffs, right ?
So BS discovered the spot-up-3 specialist in Price .
Hopefully Lin and Young will bounce back next game . |

Price has stepped up. He's been better than Lin the last half dozen games or so. Up to Lin to step his game up, and he really hasn't thus far. |

Price is efficient in this game, Kobe dishes out 11 assists regardless of his 9 TO. |

Ummm... He wasn't better last game. But he also was still decent.
But it has been very apparent that Price has been practicing his shot. |
