Waived Rob Sacre and sign Sam Dalembert. Do it, Mitch! |

Yes! Waive a younger player for an aging vet who will help us be good enough to still essentially have the same record at the end of the year. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? If you know PM me please
I would be willing to pay you for it. |

He is a shell of himself. Too fat. No explosiveness. Does he have to clear waivers and then do teams with the worst records get to bid on him first? If so, maybe Charlotte needs a big while Big Al is out. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

When a player is on waiver, any team that has the cap space to take on his contract can claim him, and assume his entire contract. If more than one team claims him off waivers, the one with the worst record gets him.
If he clears waivers, he becomes an unrestricted free agent and can sign with whoever he likes. |

The Knicks released Fs Lou Amundson and Lance Thomas and C Alex Kirk. Are any of these guys worth a look? Maybe Lance Thomas?
Also, the Nets released F Brandon Davies. Any thoughts? _________________ “Love is the force that ignites the spirit and binds teams together.” - Phil Jackson |

Once again the Lakers would be on the late freight with this player. 5-6 years ago he would have been a great pickup. Not now, he has nothing to offer this team. I can see him going back to Dallas or Miami to help them for a long playoff run.
And oh yea, just for nostalgic sake, Jermaine O'Neil back with the Trailblazers would be a poetic ending to a great career, win or lose. |
