Something they aren't reporting is that kobe had an MRI done today. I hope it's not related to him sitting out _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. Not that close to the situation but close enough to know :/ _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. Kobe Bryant is out tonight (rest). Byron Scott made the decision after talking to Kobe this morning. |
|
Wait, he needs more rest?!?! Damn! He and the team are never going to get in sync like this. Dam dam dam! |
Something sounds fishy about this. |

The thing I dont like about the MRI is that he was supposed to start tonight and just now they're sitting him _________________ "Bryant has been the second best player in the NBA for over a decade, but the number 1 player changes every other year. Kobe is on team tank, that's all I've got. Losing to Orlando could be big plus with the recent Boston moves, we need to be even worse. Kobe knows what's up. |

I think.... slowly the Lakers are moving toward the direction of sitting out Kobe for the season..... he should waste his one last energy on a team hopefully with multiple all-stars come next year.... the Lakers know this season is a lost cause... if the Lakers were in playoff contention.. Kobe would be suiting up. |

Sounds like if Kobe keeps resting spontaneously like this he may be out the season and hate to say it, looks like retirement after this year. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

He doesn't care cause he doesn't know if he is or not... he thinks his opinion will lead to a Kobe trade..... he probably won't come out of the wood-work anymore... he's trying to make a Lionel the Laker facial expression. |

Kobe resting is fine. It'd be good to see more rookies (Kelly, Clarkson, Black) play today. |

Well there goes my theory that they were just resting him on the tough games they figured to lose anyway. This would be an easy night to put up numbers so I'm confused why they'd rest him today instead of on Sunday unless its about soreness/injury other than basic rest. |

We all know Kobe is far from the Steve Nash journey. |

The fact that he keeps mentioning his achilles are sore may have something to do with this (this is me hypothesizing). They probably want to male sure he remains healthy enough to play next year and potentially beyond, and with this season going sideways, why not. I do think there's more to him resting than they are letting on. Either he has a real injury they are masking or he has joined team tank. |

What's the official reason for Kobe not being available..General Soreness? |

Probably didnt help that Byron pushed him the entire 3rd quarter the other night. It really makes no sense to give him unnecessary minutes one night and then sit him completely to rest him 2 days later. |

These refs are a joke. They looked like fools on that last play. |

Stu is actually sharing some knowledge on an opposing player I'm shocked he has heard of anyone on this Magic team. |
