This isn't typical. He's normally a good FT shooter.

Tired legs... ex. Kobe kept bricking his FTs earlier this season cuz he needed to play 37 mins.

Um, who is "hating" on him? Fans are fans, do good they like you, don't do good you're a bum. Lin can relax tonight.

All five bigs that played considerable minutes got double doubles or were very close. Sorry Sacre, you weren't one of them.

Hey, I'm glad Black played well, but we need a really balanced team. A strong Sacre and Swaggie will be a boost. Go Lakers.

It's the first time the Lakers playing against a non-playoff team without Kobe.

I know they can win this.

LOL that macdonald guy subtly hates Lin. At around 11 in the 4th, Lin goes up for a shot and announcer's like, Lin is ONLY 2 for 7. Seconds later, Young goes up, and announcer meekly mentions Young is 2 for 10.

at around 5:35 in the 4th, Lakers up by around 10, Lin at the line. Announcer criticizes Lin's subpar free throw shooting for the night... in a game where Lakers were winning and Lin was an integral part of the winning.

Haters gonna ...

I think we should stop focusing on Lin's FTs and be more worried about Swaggy's shooting slump.

we're not going to have that many wins this year so lets enjoy them while they get them. the team has pieces that will work out for the team next some will move on. almost to the 1/2 way point and before you know it season will be over. based on his play black will be a laker next year.

I didn't get that impression at all. I actually think Bill is pretty fair with his assessments and commentary, but he probably is a Swaggy P fan

He did mention that Lin had a poor FT shooting night which was out of character for Lin... which is a fair comment.

Lin had tired legs tonight due to the training-camp-like practice, which affected his FTs and TOs.

Lin played like 17 straight minutes in the 2nd half. Scott's substitution patterns leave a lot to be desired.

Lin FT wasn't good and had 5TO.

But with more time he plays in this role and practice to fix,
he will be fine.

Swaggy will be fine. Lin will be fine. They'll both be fine.

Are we seriously going to whinge about Scott giving Lin more minutes

Just pay attention to the subtle differences with how he talks about Lin's mistakes and how he doesn't point it out when others do the same.
For instance, in one game, some pg used a pick to get by Lin. Bill goes "he just blew by Lin". Later, same thing happens to Price, but Bill doesn't mention it.

As for the ft, mentioning that it's out of characters is nbd. But harping on it, to make it sound as if the Lakers were losing b/c of those ft's... that's subtle hate.

As compared to Stu - that guy is very fair, and harps on the same mistakes no matter who did it.

OMG. Worthy going overboard with his Price love.

I mean, I like Price... but he's laying it on really really thick.

Good leadership from Lin. Noticed him on the sidelines chatting and strategizing with Black, switching up the defence, the offence. I'm glad players don't come on these forum and read all the belching.

He could have given him a couple of extra minutes of rest at the beginning of the 4th. He finally plays both price and Lin at the same time. Waiting on the black-davis front court.

The thing we should worry about is Nick Young's shooting slump, not Lin's TO and FTs.
