To be honest, Magic simply sucks in this game (especially on grabbing rebonds), and Black played surprisingly well which are the main reason for the win. Otherwise we might not be able to walk away with the W.
Besides Black, Hill, Price are decent. Boozer and Davis both double-doubled. Swaggy was seriously off. Ellington was not much better. Kelly was good at the beginning but cool off later. The one who baffled me again is Lin.
On the book he had 3 boards, 6 assist, 18 points which is the highest for both teams, 4 steals, 2 blocks all look pretty good. However, 5 TO and 5/10 FT both are alarming. TO might be due to his play style so if this is what it takes for him to play aggressive, then I can live with that. But 50% FT is just unacceptable. Since he's a career 80% FT player I expect him to pick it up though. |

He made some lazy entry passes as well resulting in TOs. Everybody knows I'm a big fan, just want to see him get over that hump. His offensive game is good if he can minimize the dumb plays and tighten up his handles the coach would trust him a lot more. |

I'll rather Swaggy break out of his slump sooner than later. Havin Nick back in rhythm makes our bench and team more potent. We need Nick to space the floor for the bench. |

but Lin can always drive and create, which is money... |

I don't want to rain on the Black parade too much, but I'd like to see how well he does against the legit good nba bigs before gushing on him too much. It's still just the Magic.. but the guy has lots of potential from tonight's showing. Please pair him up with lin, they seem to have a lot in common and could elevate each other's game imo  |

That's not a problem ... I am happy that Lin can play 17 straight minutes. He needs those. It's just the practice ... that leaves a lot of questions to me. |

I would rather he had less TO than more blocks TBH. As a pg protecting the ball is his main duty. And this kind of careless is why he was moved to the bench. If he wants to become a more reliable force for the team he really needs to be more careful with that.
Though like I said before I would rather take the TO with aggressive plays, rather than he plays timid and 0 TO. This is hardly his best game, I think we can all agree on that. |

| Kelly quietly had a pretty good game tonight and has been rebounding better lately. It looks like he can play either forward position well. |

The thing I can agree with is this. Lin doesn't need to prove himself. He's proven. The 'he needs more work' - probably can be made about every player on the NBA. That was a solid performance from Lin. Solid. |
