I just mentioned this in the tank thread. ...... If you want a loss, no better way to get it than have a volume shooter who is off. 38% for the season too.

I really don't understand why people like this guy. He is a one-dimensional, low IQ chucker who only cares about attention and stat-padding. Seriously, why not just sign Ricky Davis too? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Byron Scott suggested Young should come in early to get up more shots, but Young politely disagreed. "I'm going to stick to being the whole Swaggy P dude, and continue to shoot," he said.

This sums this clown up. As long as he pads his stats and gets interviewed after the game, he could give a damn if the Lakers lose or not. _________________ Nick Young would love to shoot Byron in the back, but there's a good chance he misses.
Nick Young is loved for a lot of the same stuff Dwight was hated for. It baffles me.
Probably because Nick isn't perceived as someone who can take us to the promised land. He's a decently cheap guy on the roster exclusively for entertainment, basically, not the guy we were expecting to pay the max to carry our defense and get us a grip of rings.

But he shoots more threes, so his TS% is much higher. (.532 vs. .479)
Both him and Bean need to relearn what a lay-up is. They get you in rhythm. _________________

This is why he will never be a starter. He is who he is--a guy who can put up a lot of points fast or shoot you out of a game. You ride him when he's hot and pull him out if he's cold. 'Pass' is probably the 20th thing somewhere down that decision tree of his.
Should have never given him that contract... another stupid mistake by the FO...... and it's gonna keep on coming.
Are we finally in agreement about something=)???? I thought it was a horrible idea to give him that contract....He has not done anything for so many other teams and then 1 season with Dantoni's all O and no defense was just an illusion. This front office has just made one mistake after another........................If they were going to build..Trade Hill, Young, and any other asset and keep Ed Davis, Tarik, Boozer, Kobe, and I still have hope forLin
If he gets in a hot streak at all, I'd try to trade him for some form of a draft pick. Not sure he holds that type of value around the league though. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest
