What happened to Derrick Rose's shot?
Yesterday he was 8-19.
His FG% has been atrocious the previous 6 games, around 25%.
Are defenses collapsing on him when shooting jumpers? Nagging injuries limiting his driving to the hoop? _________________ -----------------------------------------------------

The injuries have clearly taken something away. Who knows what could have been if he weren't injured, but it's best to evaluate what is. Reality. He can single-handedly prevent the Bulls from winning a title. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0
The Bulls played without starters Derrick Rose and Mike Dunleavy. Rose, who missed much of the past 2½ seasons due to a series of injuries, was sidelined by left knee soreness, and Dunleavy missed his fifth straight game with a right ankle injury.
Dunleavy had an MRI and was scheduled to see team physician Dr. Brian Cole on Saturday night. Rose also was expected to meet with Cole, and coach Tom Thibodeau said the point guard also could be headed for an MRI depending on the result of Cole's examination.

Imagine if they had a healthy Rose, or had swapped him for Westbrook while they had the chance. Clear-cut favorites to win the title. Even a 34 year old Pau is better than the former MVP. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Uh oh.
And this is why the Bulls aren't the favorites to come out of the East. Rose is likely going to be in and out of the lineup and they won't develop the necessary chemistry, if he stays healthy at all. Sad, since I'd be very happy if Pau helped keep Lebron and Duncan from getting another ring.
the warriors aren't even riding the passing lanes, he's just excelling at passing to the spectators.
Also from what I've seen this year, Butler has been the primary perimeter player and he's not there today. _________________ I believe everything the media tells me except for anything for which I have direct personal knowledge, which they always get wrong

But the Bulls gave the GSW only their 7th loss of the season. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------

The Bulls will live or die with Rose taking the last shot in a close game. Despite the rise of Butler and the steady play of Pau, Rose is still their best player.
What they're missing right now, aside from Joakim's less than stellar play, are the usual contributions from Kirk and Taj. Kirk is specially bad the last few games. Opposing teams are giving him the open shot and he keeps on bricking them. Taj is forcing his shots.
But I still believe they'll get out of the East and if they get to face the Warriors again it wil be one hell of a finals matchup. _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”
