I think it was reported yesterday that he will play today. That is unless Kobe is "tired" or "sore" today after practice yesterday. |

If he's just tired.. then damn... that was a lot of time off he needed for just being tired. |

This season is weirdest i witnessed in my life... If anybody tell me (prior this season), that Kobe would take "night-off" just to rest his body i would smack him in the face!!!  |

Weird. From other thread, kobe had a good practice - which begs the question, whats the point of practicing just to miss game day? |

| The shutting down season talk... was a smokescreen IMO... probably playing mindgames with the media fans and the NBA teams... I don't see Kobe wasting his final 2 years... he wants to get a championship before he calls it quits and getting 1 next year isn't a guarantee either.... |

If he shuts down this season then it pretty much means he's done playing. I hope sincerely that he's able to keep playing with the occasional rest games.
