Why would they do that? They are in the hunt for a playoff spot. They are getting a draft pick of ours, either this year or next year.

The risk is if we somehow get a good pick, pick up a coveted free agent, get Randle back, and improve. They could end up with a much worse draft pick next year (i.e. 16th/17th). Not likely (that we improve to that extent), but it's possible. |
