Had a horrible shooting first half...didn't play in the 4th quarter... Still finished with 52 point, 5 assist , 4 steals and 2 blocks.

Oh...and 37 in one quarter.

People wonder why I started watching the Warriors and I told them "Hey, in 2012 Klay Thompson went off on the Laker's summer league squad. I've been a fan of his since then."

He doesn't have Kobe's handles, but when all is said and done he'll be a better scorer than Kobe.

Kobe is top 3 scorer in NBA history and best at that department I have ever seen play scoring wise I'll take him over MJ. You saying Klay will go down better scorer than Kobe is flat out stupid and crazy please make sense.

Relax. He already said he meant shooter. Lol. Take a swipe at Bryant and people will drive 50 miles to go fight. Lol

Lol well it's hard to know if people are being serious or using sarcasm anymore especially on LG. I'm not sure if you have noticed it or not but a lot of people have been hating on Kobe lately even Laker fans.

it's not hating if it's factually correct. And it's hating if it's not. Take the All-Star nomination: did he "deserve" it for what he's done in 2015? No but if one were to say so, they're hating. Since it's a fan vote, it's irrelevant. But I know if we were in Harden's or Thompson's situation, we'd probably be a little pissed especially with the numbers we'd be putting up. They have egos as well.

Christ, doughboy, your Dreamshaking is exhausting. Turn it off sometimes.

Not Dreamshaking if it's correct sir. Just tell me where I'm wrong.

Exhausting.

Klay will be a better shooter. Especially behind the arc.

Oh geesih here we go comparing a another guy who has hot night of shooting to one of the top 5 all time players.

50 pts great for klay .. heck i remember Kobe scoring 50 pts nightly during the Smush years. I honestly believe Kobe prob could have had multiple 81 pt games during period if Phil allowed it.

That said Klay is a nice player I wouldnt mind having on this team some way some how.

Randle + this years lottery pick We would still have a late 1st rd pick.

If he had done this against the Lakers Mychal Thompson would have had a very difficult time staying reserved.

Mychal, Mychel, Klay, Trayce, they certainly don't use tradition spelling of their names.

I think Mychal changed the spelling of his name from the traditional Michael which was very common in black homes. Hell, my moms named me after Michael Jackson when he was on fire with the J5. lol

Yes, I'm sure the W's would respond, "Hey, we have the best team in the league right now, on pace to have a 70-12 record. Let's make a trade for the future! Woohoo, Randle and a lottery pick!" Great thinking there, sport.

I'm happy for Klay, I wish we would have had a shot at getting him but GSW was wise to extend him

I remember reading here on LG Klay was overrated. He has certainly proven to be a quality player.

Wilt was the only one who scored 50 nightly (averaging 50).

What is amazing is that he didn't score his first point that quarter until around the 9 minute mark.
