Male cast, female cast, who cares, it'll likely suck either way. |

Sony was trying hard to get both Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone.
I see Sony couldn't land either.
Sick of Melissa McCarthy. _________________ |

Jennifer Lawrence would fit well playing Bill Murray's character. Thats too bad... _________________ The journey to 17 begins... |

Before I even finished reading the name "Melissa McCarthy"...somewhere around "Meli--" <---right here is where I instinctively pictured myself taking a dump in the producers' mouths. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

Wow. I guess the Ghostbusters 3 game on PS3 is as close as we're gonna get to a proper TRILOGY with the original cast.
McCarthy was funny in Bridesmaids. I'll give her that. But you can only do the "I'm funny cuz I'm fat" schtick for so long. She's no Farley
This is probably the least funny casting route they could have taken.
I remember it was rumored they were going to get the 90's SNL guys: Sandler, Spade, Farley, etc.... then years later it was going to be guys like Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, etc. I hope this isn't as bad as I think it will be. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

I might have sat through it if Emma Stone was in it. Guess I'll be waiting for broadcast TV / Netflix. |

Hollywood needs grow a pair and stop with the remakes/reboots already.
New ideas, new stories, new characters...try it. If it's good, people will watch it. |

While I like new ideas and new stories... the box office numbers say that people watch remakes and reboots. |

Ok, the REMAINING cast. Would have been cool to see Rick Moranis step into Egon's role on the team... but I think that guy is a recluse living in some cave somewhere. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

He stepped away from the business to be a stay at home dad after his wife died of breast cancer. After he had been on that break for a while, he realized he didn't miss the business at all. |

I remember Revelations 7:12
And I looked as he opened the 6th seal and behold there was a great earthquake, and the sun became as black as sack cloth and the moon became as blood. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

We suppose could all probably guess about the story line here... Let me just say this, it'd be cool if all the ladies played the daughters of the original characters. _________________ “Love is the force that ignites the spirit and binds teams together.” - Phil Jackson |

Can't really be arsed to care about a Ghostbusters update that (the late) Harold Ramis or (the alive and kicking) Ivan Reitman have no involvement with. _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824 |
