It was hard to even find a clip of this on youtube.. but this play will forever be one of my favorites. Kobe driving 1 on 4 and doing a 360 spin and finding a trailing Gasol with the over the shoulder pass.

Some of the other plays like the fisher 3 pointer gets all the glory but if this play wasn't made we might have lost this game.

I'm happy that Gasol is doing well, welcome back to LA!

This play seems to get brought up every year on LG under a similar thread title.

And I agree every time it's posted

I think most of us guessed what it was based off the title. I think it's a situation thing. Sure it was amazing, but as a fan you're in game mode thinking okay play good D and hit a 3 for OT. I'm not sure if Kobe was thinking shot until Dwight swooped in, but only Kobe can make that play with 4 defenders converging like that. We take for granted stuff like this.

I loved that Kobe to Gasol to Bynum for the quick alley oop play. Actually I don't remember how much Kobe was involved in that.

That one play where Kobe passed the ball to Pau and he scored a basket.

I agree. Maybe because it was the way Mike Breen unenthusiastically called it -- just a simple "pretty pass", like he was just having a conversation with someone.

I wish it was called more jubilantly, but I'd understand since the Lakers were still down by 3 at that point.

Amazing court vision.
That's how you average 5 dimes a game as a SG year after year.

Yes. Kobe is an all time great in the paint passer.

It's funny, when I saw the topic title, before I even clicked on it, the first play I thought of was this exact play.

I don't think it's as underrated a play as you may think it is. But either way, it's a brilliant play.

Nice! First one that came to my mind was the pass in the paint against Boston. Kobe told Pau to drop lower and he did just that. It wasn't so fancy, but sealed the game.

On another note, how incredible was Kobe on that play?!?!
