Okafor, Randle, and Clarkson would be a great trio. I'm not that much concerned about Okafor's defense as most, he has a strong base and elite wingspan to be a Marc type of defender. It'll take a couple of years, but I think he has the tools to be a two way player. Randle has great speed as well on help and recover. It'll make things easier by having 3 and d players at SG and SF with that frontcourt.

Man I don't say this often because I wouldn't want to jinx it, but a Jahlil Okafor/Julius Randle front court would be a (bleep)' dream. Would be thrilled with any one of Okafor/Russell/Towns/Mudiay/Winslow, but Okafor is my biggest pipe. Okay I won't say this again.

What, you see Towns raining 3s from behind the arc?

That was the old Rasheed raining 3's. I said young Rasheed. Plus a couple inches

Ok, I thought Rasheed was 6-10 and Towns was a seven footer. Also Towns is more defensive minded, I think.

Towns already has 3pt range. There was a video a couple years ago on YouTube where he beat wiggins in a 3pt shootout. I'm sure he will become more Consistent with time

Found it

Thanks for posting. Just makes me want him in a Laker uniform even more!

The basketball Gods have to make this right. On Draft night the only words I want to hear coming out of the Commish's mouth are "With the first pick of the 2015 NBA Draft the Lakers choose...Karl AnthonyTowns"

I dream of seeing the Lakers card shown on one of the top 3 spots!

I am with you on Okafor and defense. I don't think he was as bad in college as others, and he does have some good physical tools to be an adequate NBA defender at worst. It all depends on how much he buys into emphasizing defense.

In my infinite boredom I came across something "interesting"

Justice Winslow High School Highlights

Julius Randle High School Highlights

Listen to the music choices for the videos. Is it a sign? Is it fate? Am I going crazy waiting for the lottery? Who knows

I honestly think Winslow can become a star on the level of Jimmy Butler or Kawhi at the 3 position. Both him and Randle at the forward spots will be extremely hard to guard in a couple years.

Yup especially considering how physical they both are, Im an unabashed Russell fanboy but I would be extremely happy if we got winslow

Here's a nice 9 minute highlight video of Winslow that shows his skills at Duke.

Winslow/Randle would be an extremely physical duo, while still being fast enough to excel in transition. You could really punish teams for going small.

Liked Winslow for a while, the guy just jumps out at me as a great fit for us. Especially with Kobe around still. I know you have to go BPA and there are some great talents above him, but I'd be delighted if we came away with him on the wing.

I don't even know if we need to go for an out and out superstar this summer, I'd like a few quality veterans (Deng/Chandler/Kobe mentoring an athletic young core including Winslow, Randle, Clarkson and Davis plus Kelly/Brown dependant on the other picks).

I don't think these things through to anywhere near the depth as many on here but doesn't that give us a base to build the right spirit with a view to battling into the playoffs in 2015 with an opening in Summer 2016 for a superstar to tip us into proper contention once again.
