Quote: | "The Los Angeles Lakers, who have also coveted Dragic for some time, are likewise presumed to be intent on testing the Suns’ resolve when it comes to their Slovenian point guard, since sources say L.A. plans to chase Dragic with an expected max four-year contract offer this summer valued at an estimated $80 million." |

Dragic, Randle, Draft Pick, and hopefully Davis. That's four uptempo guys in your lineup right there. Now all they need is MDA!

I don't see him getting a max, but I can see 4/65 or around that range. He is a really good player. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Read my breakdown in the free agency thread. Highly highly underrated by fans (probably because of how he looks and the nonchalant appearance of his amazingly deadly play). _________________ “We must always take sides. He's quite the killer. Watch him play FIBA ball as the Man for Slovenia this past summer. I saw it. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

He's one of the more overrated players in the league.
He shouldn't be making more than $10 million.
On top of that he'll be 29 years old next season. So he'll be under contract until he's 33. No thanks. I'd rather develop a young player with potential. _________________ I Recommend VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/ |

So $45M between Kobe and Dragic next season. Lots of room left to sign more scrubs . |

Technically will turn 32 the summer he is a free agent again. But his game isn't predicated on athleticism. $10m? that's laughable. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Woah, 20m/year? Dragic is my most coveted FA this summer, but the max I'd give him is 15, although I could definitely see the Suns matching that and then trading him down the road so that they don't lose an asset for nothing. Glad we're going after him.

He deserves the max more than guys like parsons. He's a very good player and what many don't seem to realize is he has the game to age really well. Sturdy, tough, not injury prone, skilled, leader, resilient, and most of all a vet. imo every rebuilding team needs a veteran player To teach the youngsters the ropes. A player who can stay on the court, be in practice, and hopefully be there long term (not kobe).
Dragic is a very good player about to hit his prime. He will be attractive to play next to when kobe is off the books And the salary cap balloons, in which case his "max" salary will be worth it imo. |

I'd give Dragic 16+ mil... maybe 18 if the market is crazy hot.
It really depends on the draft though. If we get Russell, then i would pass on Dragic. |

No doubt. Russell would need time but we would have to allocate assets to get a big. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I don't get why people are freaking out.
1. we have to see if we get a top 5 draft pick and whether we get a guy like Russell.
2. I don't think Dragic is going to get 20m/year, more around the 15-17 range. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

FWIW if the Lakers are spending a max, I'd rather it on Dragic than Rondo/Love. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Randle will make about $3 million next year and our future 1st rounder could make anywhere between $3-$4 million....so its not as dire as it looks like. Plus with Kobe's expiring next year they can play around with the numbers on the contracts which they are giving out over the summer. |
