Scott said that he may change the entire line up as soon as next game. He didn't like the energy in the 3rd after a good 1st half

If this is true Lin & Davis need to start in the 3rd & 4th quarters.

3rd quarter slumps/collapses have plagued us for the past two seasons.

Just BS's excuse for making a little bit better looking for tanking.

I'm going to this game. My buddy (who became a Celtics fan in '08 - go figure) make an annual tradition out of it and pick up tickets during pre-sale.

I was hoping to see Kobe & Randle vs. Rondo & Smart, but that's not the way this season has gone. Hopefully Clarkson has a nice game, and as much as I want the Lakers to have a top 5 pick this year, hopefully a win against the Celtics doesn't hurt our draft rankings too much

I sure as hell don't want to root for Boston, but we're gaining ground with our tank. Tough decisions.

Have to root for the Lakers against Boston. After all, the Celtics are trying to make the playoffs. Let's help keep them out.

And if we lose then we win the tank battle. Consolation prize.

Not a tough decision at all....hoping for a Celtic blow out so I can watch the game in peace while we continue the tanking

This needs to be a win. Our losing streak should never be more than 10. That's the only Lakers pride thing to hold on. Also whether the Celtics suck or not, I want a win.

I shouldn't matter if we don't win a single game in the second half of the year. I'll take 13-69...if it guarantees us the worst record in the league and possibly the number 1 pick.

One of the sacrifices of being on Team Tank is to lose every game possible....even if its to the crappy Celtics.
We need that bright future, so it means we gotta sacrifice our pride this year.

Preserving the tank is far more important than beating the Celts when both teams suck. Not to mention by winning the game we somehow start a winning streak, this would be bad.

Jordan Clarkson vs Marcus Smart will be a great matchup to keep an eye on.

Unfortunately there is no way that we will lose all of our remaining games. We are competing against some professional tankers with years of experience.

I'm sure we will lose 80% of our remaining games without even trying. I believe that will be good enough to secure the top 5 pick.
That being said; I will never pull for Boston unless I was POSITIVE that it would prevent us from getting the pick.

Bottom line is "we suck" with or without fan support. Cheering to win or lose has no effect on the outcome what-so-ever.

I was thinking something similar. Maybe more than the head to head matchup, watching how Clarkson deals with the ball pressure of Smart and Bradley. If you see him handle that well and finish with a good assist, low turnover game you know he's grown.
