Jack Nicholson can’t handle the truth.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, the legendary actor and Lakers super fan revealed he’s willing to put his trademark courtside tickets up for sale as Hollywood’s team slogs through a miserable lottery-bound season.
A Monday morning check of StubHub reveals two courtside tickets for the Lakers-Knicks game on March 12 are going for a cool $6,264.75 a pop.

Isn't that what all super rich Laker fans do during the rebuilding years?

Re sell tickets or give them to assistants/kids.

I'll be honest, I have the last two games before the all star break and the Celtics game from yesterday DVR'd and I havent watched any of them. The losing is torture. I am making myself watch these games because I do not want to be a hypocrite in a couple years when the Lakers are winning and say YAH, I WAS HERE from the beginning. The losing is painful. The play is worse. I just can't cheer to lose. I can't.

It's not just losing. They're joyless and boring to watch.

Wait, is he just selling his tickets? Or is he giving up his seat for good?

Besides Clarkson, there is little progression. Most of the players will be gone next year.

that top 5 protection also makes it terrible as well. Makes Team Tank a genuine place to be on.

Agreed. When a rookie who was taken 46th in draft like Jordan Clarkson is literally the only player on your active roster worth giving a damn about, you know you're in deep (bleep).

Jack probably can't make the game because he'll be shopping at whole foods

I definitely can see where he's coming from. My interest in the Lakers has progressively waned in the last two seasons. I've probably only watched about 20% of the games this year. I would've watched every single game had Randle not gotten injured.

Ugh if we don't keep our pick this year, disaster. I'm excited seeing the super rookies develop next year.

If we all split the price of that ticket, we can easily afford to send LG ambassador Pjiddy to a game of our choice. The ticket would pay for itself with the attention my homemade LG shirt would yield.

I don't think anyone will hold it against you for not caring about this. If this was merely a bad team that is trying to win, then I'd watch. As someone else said, most of these players will not be here for the long-term. The team is not entertaining, I can barely name half the roster, and the management is not trying to win. ... So why should I waste my time? When the franchise starts caring about winning, then I'll care to watch.

I can't wait to see that game, just so I can laugh and someone paying $12000 for 2 tickets to go to a game played by two teams that won't even have 20 wins between them.

I guess he is not Jacking around, Must be mad that we did not hit the Jack pot during the trade deadline. Maybe just maybe, Someone who is Jack of all trades can convince him to keep his seats.

Selling, he isn't stupid enough to give the seats up.

I posted something similar in another thread.

I feel like a hypocrite, I turned from the Laker, Celtic game, that's unheard of.

I'm losing my love for the game. I'm a Laker fan. When they weren't winning in the past I'd still watch and cheer. This team has dulled my enthusiasm for the game. I don't even watch other teams with joy anymore.

I've seen the lean years but this year is like Armageddon. I anxiously and painfully await the second coming.
