I thought it was interesting. And to be quite honest it made me nervous knowing so much rides on those ping pong balls at the end of the season.

Anyone know if Worthy was the Lakers rep behind the scenes here too? Or just in studio?

I'm pretty sure the lotto reps have no knowledge of what happened so they can try to get reactions on TV.

Dude calls out 4 random numbers and gives congrats to Cleveland. Yep, restored my faith in the lottery system.

How does that even work? They pick 4 lotto balls and then stops the machine and says "Congratulations Cleveland!"

Do they take the first 4 balls and subtract them or some (bleep)? Lol

I have a feeling we will get the #2 or 3 pick, and Knicks will select Okafor.

It kind of reminded me of this quick scene.

No idea. Apparently 13, 7, 9 and 14 = Cleveland though.

The 4 numbers represent a number combination. There's a whole big wall with all the number combinations on it. The team with the worst record has 25% of the combinations, 2nd worst 19.9% and so forth.

Best team in the NBA should get the number 1 pick every year...give teams a reason to try and win.

Reverse lottery where the playoff teams are only in it. Losing should never be rewarded and it shouldn't be a viable strategy in building a winning team. It's backwards.

The new CBA should have included a reformatted NBA draft to help further the goal of parity

A step down of my pipe of the Knicks selecting Mudiay, but I'll take it!

It was reported that Worthy was there.

Watch it again and tell us how cheating could happen? The balls reacted the same way when dropped into the chamber, and once the air was on they all reacted the same way. I don't believe for one minute that cheating is going on.

Each team is given a certain number of number combinations based on their records. The worst team has the most, the 14th have the least number. Whoever has the combination that pops up gets the #1 pick (or 2 and 3 also).

A PG who can't shoot would be interesting in the triangle.

I see. Thank you for clarifying. Seems like something I should have already known. Nonetheless, thanks again.

Ron Harper wasn't a shooter

A PG who can't shoot wasn't about just the Triangle. It was about needing someone to make teams pay for zoning in on Bryant and leaving their man. Fish made them pay for that.
