That honestly makes not a lot of sense.

Wouldn't you WANT him to be another steal the Lakers got?

If he leads us to wins it means we should sign him for the rest of the season and have another steal going forward.

I know....glad you get it.

Anyone we pick in the draft is a gamble....glad we're using this time to checkout other players with high potential to see how they actually do playing for us in the NBA.

so, if there was ever a game to test out a new player, its against the league's worst-record Knicks, right?

Stu said Brown had the best game on the team tonight.

I agree he did good....but Black did better. Double double with 10 points (5-6) & 11 rebounds w/ 1 assist and 1 TO. He is a beast on the floor!!

Looking good with 9 points on 4-4 from the field and 2 steals.

Edit: as I submit he misses a 3

Seems like a solid pickup. Should get a 2nd 10- day contract and then get signed for the rest of the season and beyond if possible. Can we give him a Tarik Black like contract? Non-guaranteed next season.

Good game from him. I had simply crossed him off as "D-league garbage" when we first signed him, but I definitely wouldn't mind giving him another 10 days and going from there.

Why did you cross him off as "D-League garbage" at first? He was the best scorer in all the D-League with a 50 pt game and a 48 pt. game and over 24 pt. per game average ...and is a 85% free throw shooter.

Horry said he should get more that 20 minutes. I hope he didn't because BS wanted to lose the game.

BS worried me after the game saying Jabari has a place in this league next season....he doesn't sound like he expects us to sign him this season...if ever. If we don't he'll probably be snatched up by another team.

He's a nice player. Good synergy with Clarkson.

Given Young has contract, he'll be a hard sell during the off season. Lakers could pick up another guard with a Pick or a FA.

Then with so many guards, will the Lakers keep Brown or Ellington?
