Jabari is instant offense if you enjoy watching a player rush it to the rim every possession. I mean, the same game everyone crucified Randle but because Jabari was doing it while making points and making everyone feel a teensy bit better not losing to the Knicks by a lot, hey, he gets passing grade.
Besides, LA literally has Lou Williams and Nick Young. |

He's a shoot first, second, and third player. Okay player if you have him in the game with a bench who can't create, but otherwise he's borderline unplayable. He shot the ball damn near every time he got it today. Probably the least productive 20 points I've ever seen. |

How does Wayne Ellington get a contract and not Jabari brown? |

A black hole chucker on offense. |

For playing like he did against the Knicks.
I mean like (bleep) I know that I'm being hypocritical on this when I'm not judging Randle and Russell, but at least they showed signs of talent. Jabari Brown, after watching him play during the RS last year and against the Knicks, made me jump to the conclusion about him. |

He's not. Had a couple of 7 assist games towards the end of the season when he got more PT.
Underrated passer. Just seen as a chucker.
Both he and Clarkson split some playmaking at Missouri. Didn't change last season. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

I disagree on him being such a negative. He was +4 today and hit some great spot up shots. I do think he's a off the bench scorer option but I wouldn't exactly call his game no pass since it felt like he was playing to stay on the team. |

He played a lot better today. I was down on him the other day because I felt like he was looking to shoot every time. Today he played a lot more efficiently within the role of the team. |

He's a gamer. Lakers would be stupid not to keep him. Looks like a winning player as well, can draw fouls and he's not terrible on defense, tho he isn't good on that end yet. But I'll give him a chance, he is a good 6th man type guard. _________________ My Dream Starting 5 next Season

Jabari Parker feeds perfectly off of ball-dominant PGs.
Before I questioned his athletic ability, because he really just has an average vert.
But, the guy has pretty consistent 3pt. range, long arms, a strong upper body, and does a shockingly great job drawing contact for a guy who is "just a shooter."
That's a roster spot. I'd rather have Parker than Nick Young's shot selection. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

He played good the previous game too.. Driving and getting to the line in a premium. Jabari doesn't bring the ball up to the court and just drive. That game you unfairly bashed him, his teammates where looking for him to score in the offense. Anyway, I'm not surprised by tonight, JB can hoop. |

His 3 pt fg is 0.371 over 19 games in the NBA. I think this probably makes him the best 3 pt shooter on the team. I know Anthony Brown shot 0.441 from 3s in college but from watching the 4 SL games, he's not as consistent as Jabari.
I think Mitch should sign him; this team has very few good shooters. |

His shooting is definitely an advantage; additionally, I like his ability to get to the FT line. Seems more aggressive and confident in his play. I'd love to keep him around. |

Quote: | Q: On the team’s guard rotation:
Kupchak: We’re talking about it internally right now. If you look at Nick Young and Kobe (Bryant) as backcourt players, then we have six. But we may look at those guys at the three spot, and then you only have four. And one of those four would be Jabari Brown, so now you’re really down to three: D’Angelo, Jordan (Clarkson) and Lou. So, depending on how you look at it, we may look to bring another guard on board. We may not. |
Interesting quote from Mitch. |

The biggest takeaway for me is that Mitch wants to bring back Jabari, which I'm happy about. |

Well it definitely seemed to reveal that Mitch thought Jabari would not be getting regular minutes this season. |
