Butler is out 3-6 weeks. I see the Bulls sinking to no. 7 seed and may have to face the Cavs in the first round. The Cavs can easily overtake the Raptors for 2nd seed.
Another hard-luck season down the drain for the Bulls.

Should've stayed with the Lakers, Pau....we would've sucked but at least you would get double what you are currently being paid.
With Derrick Rose always being injured, I don't see the Bulls getting to the Conference Finals.....

some things are more important than money, especially when you already have plenty. he was the walking dead here, most people thought he was DONE. he could *never* have resurrected his career here the way he has in CHI.
I wonder if it's time to cut down the number of games to 66 or 72 (but the season will still last from from November to April). Maybe the faster pace of the game is contributing to the rash of injuries throughout this decade. _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824

What a pity. Their fans must feel pretty unlucky since DRose went down the first time. Look like a championship team on the rise, then unending bad luck.

66 games and 4 playoff teams in each conference would eliminate every issue the NBA has.

I'd rather not see them cut down on the number of games that much. Maybe start the season earlier (and still end it in April so they could have more time in between games) and cut down on the number of games a little less if they need to. I'd like to see them get rid of back-to-back games.
