I want to start this out by saying Kentucky will ride through this thing and finished undefeated. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

You're really going out on a limb there, VLF. The real question is, other than a fluke game (which can always happen in a single elimination tournament), who has the best chance to shock the world by beating UK? I think I'd pick Notre Dame, because they have the potential to go nuts with the three. |

I think Arizona will win it all. Kentucky won't have the size advantage like they do against other teams. Arizona will have a huge advantage on the perimeter with Stanley and RHJ, should be a great game. |

I'm glad that the bracket pundits are finally done for the year. They perform a useful service during the year. However, some people take them too seriously. Do we really need an inquisition about UCLA? It's not like any of the other teams had a great case to get in. No truly deserving team got snubbed, regardless of whether there was someone with a marginally better resume than UCLA. |

If missing out on the tourney is NCAA"s version of tanking, I would've supported it just so we could be that much closer to jettisoning Steve Nepotism Alford. That said, I'm mildly pleased.

Looking at the brackets, I think one team that might make it to the Final Four is Gonzaga. Not a big surprise, they are a 2 seed. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I've never seen a game winning three pointer resulting from a goaltending call, until today.
UCLA beats SMU. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |

Lots of brackets busted already.
I know a lot of people hate the coach's son but he made a 3 to win the game for the Bruins......considering how a lot of experts hated the Bruins were in the tournament, thats gotta be a big FU moment there. |

he didn't "make" a three, really. Good effort to get the shot near the basket, though |

He did make 9 out of 11 three point attempts. He made 4 consecutive 3's down the stretch. |

5/6 so far, only misstep being UAB, but I had ISU losing in round 2 so it wasn't that bad. But I also have Ole Miss and that's not looking too good |

I was checking the box score, I didn't see the final shot....now I see why people are ticked....
Looks like UCLA is trolling the experts this year... |

Question, is SMU just not that great of a basketball team during Larry Brown's coaching reign? He seems to get hyped quite a bit, and he obviously has an NBA championship, but it seems like SMU hasn't done much with him. |

Lyles, Harrison and Booker match the perimeter guys |

Lol @ Baylor.
Games are close. That's a good thing. Scores are horrible. Wish they could improve the level of play. An old UNLV or Duke or Georgetown would easily run through this years groupings. |

It's SMU, man. This is the first time the Mustangs have been relevant in basketball since the Jon Koncak era. One year, the Mustangs had some guard to complement Koncak, and they beat UNC in North Carolina. It seems like they were ranked in the top five at one point, before fading at the end of the season. They might have made the NCAA tournament again since then, but they've never been anything special.
SMU is a smallish school in football country that plays in a lousy conference full of schools that are too ambitious to play in a mid-major conference but too small to get invited to a major conference. In that context, Larry Brown has worked wonders. |

I watched a few of the games yesterday. I was pretty underwhelmed with the quality of play. There is a certain charm to a single elimination tournament, but otherwise it wasn't a good product. |
