I can see why a country of 2 bill would have an every man for himself attitude towards lines. Can you imagine what a single file line in China would look like for anything? _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

It's not just China. When I'm in the Bolsa area and do any kind of shopping it's a freaking zoo. Little Vietnamese women suddenly turn into savages pushing and shoving their way to the front of a sandwich shop.

Don't get me wrong, you are a SASSAAAY boy (Phil Hartman voice) in general, but not above.
NO worries . Didn't think you were being the R word. Just pointing out that even the peeps from my homeland act the same way lol.
I think it comes down to anyone from a 3rd world that's has an enormous population density ends up having to be pushy as hell to get anything done.

anyone been to India lately? when I visited my uncle last year I had to use the city subway system to get around Delhi. OMG. I literally had to throw someone of the subway because they almost trampled my mom and dad... Its like they have one objective and ignore all other surroundings....
Its literally like the walkers in the walking dead... aimlessly walking without a care in the world other than to feed themselves
I can't wait until they take over the world so I can stop waiting in lines. The DMV would be a much happier place with a bunch of people piled in front of the counters.
To give some background, China was pretty poor until the gov open its door to economics and the economy boomed creating a lot of wealthy people or at least more disposable income to the masses.
New money.
Its normal in china to rush the lines, push etc because with so many people you have to bum rush to get what you want. Its everyone for themselves. So this translates to little edicate and social grace.
With money, people travel. Unfortunately they carry the bad habits with them causing alot of embarrasement. This is specifically mainlanders (from china). Go google or youtube chinese tourist and you'll see alot more embarassing stuff. A guy threw hot water into the face of thai stewardess because he couldn't sit with his buddy because they have separate tickets. A mianlander family in Hong Kong, their kid had to go to bathroom, so they let him poop in the middle of the street and so on.
Thats just the middle class. Sometimes worse are the wealthy ones where they think money = power and respect. Don't know if things will change, but shaming seems to be the current trend now. _________________ The journey to 17 begins...

Lol! I remember when people got to pissed off about that white girl. No doubt she's a dumb ass. But that s*** was funny! Not all of it, but being a student at the time and spending countless hours in the library during finals week, I knew exactly what she was talking about. At UCI, a black chick took this girls phone and threw it against the wall. After that, they put up like 100 notices saying "no phones!"

Well, you had that part right anyway. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

d00d, I currently live in China (going on 5 years) and out of all the countries I have ever been to, this is the only one where its accepted that your child pee or crap in open public on the streets. (And in some cases, its accepted that regular adults do the same >__>)
Not only that, the children up to the age around 2 have what you call, "Crotchless pants" where children can just squat wherever they feel, and just go.
And the Chinese spout they strive for health... LOOOL Don't make me laugh with this disease spreading practice.
And about Chinese tourists... its like they bring China into whatever country they go to. _________________ The Gospel in a nutshell: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

It's what happens when a big chunk of the upper to middle class moves out of the country and the peasants become the middle class.
Exactly. While glad some of the poor got out of horrible poverty, they are slow to adapt cultural differences. Most places deal with it because of money they bring in, but the bad rep is taking its toll. The worse are the poor who became very wealthy. they think money = power, respect and obedience. They can yell and berate workers.
My friends wife's cousin went to school here but never attended a class in college. Just paid someone to take the tests. Wow what a waste. Waste not only money, but actual education, college experience and making new friends.
Right now just giving other Chinese people a bad rep. _________________ The journey to 17 begins...

There was a Chinese teenage moron who graffitied a wall painting in an Egyptian tomb a few years ago. He was on a trip to Egypt and he wrote his name and "wuz here on 3/19/12" in Cantonese. You hear these tales and it's hard to retain your thoughtfulness, but recently there was that Murican troglodyte over here who destroyed a weathered rock feature in some national park just for the halibut (it was an arch iirc that had been standing for eons). Therefore, ignorance knows no cultural boundary. As for the Chinese chalk it up to they have a ways to go to learn how to act when they travel. It probably hasn't been that long since Chinese tourists have had the money to travel en masse. Maybe it's not on purpose, they just don't know what they don't know. We have the Ugly Amurican stereotype as well, so we're still learning too, but at least we've passed the threshold of defecating on spot (maybe...unless we're drunk).
PS: Speaking of Egypt, back in August, Egyptian museum staff broke the chin extension off of King Tut's gold body cover. They had to reglue it on and there's now a visible gap (black shadow) around it and it's off center. It will forever be poorly altered from now on. Just heard about that recently. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!
