He's 6'11 (2.11m).

Can't describe in words how much I hate the US/UK measurements system. Jesus!

It doesn't matter who BS mixes & matches, OKC & Westbrook are going to destroy us.

I want Russell to crush us, and blow us like the wind. I want to see a 50 point triple double game and him doing cross overs all over Lin.

Really kill any emotion from this team for the rest of the season. THAT is what I want to see.

i know, but he's a "soft" 6'11. we all know he's really a stretch, not an post/inside guy, like novak, a 6'10 shooter.

Ryan's confidence is at all time low now... But he could be a good defender, his PnR d was pretty good..

Change that will wreck some havoc I hope Black has good hands!

He's going to destroy some havoc? I don't get it.

Some interesting factors for this new lineup:

- Ryan Kelly will be playing the stretch 4 position instead of SF.
don't think much will change, Kelly needs a summer of work to get his mojo back

- This is the first time that Lin will be starting without a ball-dominant teammate since his Linsanity days (except for a few times on the Rockets when Harden was injured).
Didn't he start for Kobe once or so?

- Regardless of starting/coming off bench, Lin's minutes will probably only be slightly more than his current range. Right now, he gets anywhere from 20-30 minutes a game; it'll be more like 24-32 minutes as a starter -- not all that different.
That's more because the Lakers go 10 deep.

- Lin will face better talent as a starter than a bench player.
Lin has started before and played against those starter talents.

- Lin, Clarkson, Wes, Kelly, and Black should be able to run (no Boozer or Hill)
That's good but must rebound to run effectively.

- Pressey will coach the game, not sure what it means for playing time or substitution patterns or playing style.
Can't be any worse.

- Russell Westbrook might wreak some havoc on this lineup!
as long as it takes him 40 min to score 40 points on 30 shots, I don't think westbrook scoring a whole lot of points is a problem. someone's going to score. doesn't matter if it is one player or five.
