|
|
Made this thread so I could get to know the rest of you guys at LG better.
It's always telling to know what sites people surf the most. There are certain things on the internet that steal my time with ease. Guess I don't have enough self control.
Those random lists of "the 20 best...." or "10 thing you don't know about...." always get me. Most of the time I find them at the bottom of an article I was purposely looking for, and I can't help but click.
Another cool site I found earlier that stole a couple hours of my life is
http://www.scp-wiki.net/ I was always a fan of X-Files growing up, and that site has really original ''anomalies" that I can't help but read about.
Of course youtube is a great time waister for alot of us, but more specifically I could watch "between two ferns" or "onion sports network" and lose track of time easily. Funny stuff.
Of course the internet is used by alot of people for non-PG13 activities.
Feel free to not mention said sites.
What sites do the rest of you guys spend time on in a recreational manner? _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Wikipedia
Wikia pages for any books/series/etc that I'm into.
LG for sure.
TEchradar/Anandtech/BGR/Endgadget etc when I'm researching a new silly gadget purchase which is basically always. |

Reddit is kind of a good way to waste time. Some of the default subreddits like /r/funny are total trash, but there are some pretty good time waster ones on there.
Some of my favorites:
Any subreddit regarding a TV show I watch or used to watch(Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, etc)
/r/publicfreakout
/r/Askreddit(default, but once in a while, there are some really intriguing topics on there)
/r/tifu
/r/cringe
/r/squaredcircle
/r/PS4
/r/nba
I visit LG every few hours or so and youtube a few times a day.

I don't go on it regularly, but when it happens, often times I have to ask my woman how long I was out.

Kodi and popcorntime
I watch so many movies, my day is spent in my lazy boy.
Just watched Annie, binged on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. I also recently watched Champs.
If it's on channels you have to pay to see a movie, DTV 126 thru 199, you can watch them on one of the two sites. Kodi used to be XBMC. popcorntime is also very good.
You have to have patience because it sometimes takes awhile to get a feed. Kodi has 4 options. If you can't get it on one you most like will find it in one of the other options. If you can't find it there go to popcorn time.
I've got my computer feed to my big screen so I save a lot of money.
EDIT: I missed BCS last night. watched it on Kodi Gemini a little while ago. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I can go on hours reading articles on Flipboard on my tablet. You can set it up to show only the topics that interesrt you. It's like sitting in a library with almost unlimited stash of magazines. They recently came up with a version voor Chrome. _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”
