BMW doesn't do a good job keeping residuals.
I've appraised over 7000 cars.
Just get a used BMW 530, have the kids make a mess, and worry about a hot ride later.
I mean I know they're not as fun, but Lexus holds value, easily the best of the luxury market. It's not even close.
Do you think their residuals come under or over?
The bolded is yet another reason I want an RC. Looks wise...just so uninspired and sadly it's their best effort imo.
Lexus holds value better than almost all luxury brands. Infiniti, Maserati, BMW, MB, Audi, Porsche. Acura comes close. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Ah, I see, we're mis-communicating a bit. What I mean by them pegging their residuals, is that the residual amount on the lease (the negotiated buy-out price after the lease has expired) generally is fairly accurate as far as what the used price on the open market is for the car. Not that they have great resale value. Different things.
And yes, I agree, Lexus is amazing resale value as I was cross-shopping an IS at the time and it was just out of my price range at the time.
Btw, any hookups in the industry on parts ? Me needs a new BST cable!

That buy out price is where dealers get you.

I want a Cayman gt4. All sold out already. I will save up for a gts though. Good enough for an everyday/weekend car. _________________ Music is my medicine
