Trade Randle for a pick in the 8-10 range? Am I missing something here?

That logic has me scratching my head as well.

Because I think Kaminsky is better than Randle.

Wisconsin did a tremendous job creating physical mismatches at every opportunity and capitalizing them with post situations.

I'm high on Kaminsky. Although he lacks strength and athleticism, I love his skill.

I think he will be a great rotation player in the league. Long-time player. But I don't see any all-star ability either. Safe pick with say the 10-12 range. You get a rotation big man.

He's not going to be anything special in the NBA. In college, even an average player with 4 years under his belt can kick butt just based on BBIQ and experience. You have a guy with actual 1st round (not even lottery) NBA talent and make him a senior, he's going to look like Kaminsky.

Kaminsky will be a 6th man in the NBA, at best. I could see him in the league for a while but would be surprised if he turns out to be a consistent starter at anytime in his career, and absolutely shocked if he ever made an all-star team.

I wouldn't draft him until the mid to late 1st round. Based on size/athleticism alone, I would take Dekker before Kaminsky, despite that Kaminsky is clearly the more skilled player right now.

Would folks take Eddie Jones in 1996 over the 17 year old Kobe? Of course Eddie was more seasoned by that time but Kobe had the upside.
