2014- 1 team moves into top 5
2013- 1 team moves into top 5 (8th)
2012-1 team moves into top 5 (4th
2011-2 teams move into top 5 (6th & 8th)
2010- 2 teams move into top 5 ( 6th & 5th)
2009- 1 team moves into top 5( 6th) 4th pick moved to top 3
2008-1 team moved into top 5 (9th)
2007- 1 team moves into top 5 (7th) 4th moved into top 3
2006- 1 team moves into top 5 (5th)
2005- 1 team top 5 (6th) 4th pick went to 3
2004- No ones moves into top 5, top 5 order scrambled
2003- 1 team moves into top 5 (6th)
2002- No team moves up, order scrambled
So we just have to keep the faith that we keep our pick at 4 and then hope for the best! 4th is not the worst spot to pick from! |

Orlando can still take the 4th spot from us considering their schedule and ours. I would say there is still room to panic. |

With the luck we've had since 2011, don't expect us to make a jump. |

Honestly at the very worst we go 3-6 and they go 2-6. |

the panic aint about moving to 5th. its about not getting third. at third you can enter with some confidence. at 4th you are biting your nails. at 5th you are flipping a coin for the next decade _________________ Kobe "I mean Phil's been here, and -- to be honest with you -- we might have, in all the years I've been with Phil, (had) maybe three defensive drills the entire time" |

So well stated. Funny also, in a brutally honest kind of way.
That 5th pick is going to have some clenching taking place thanks to the Lakers very poor job in the front office as far as properly protecting the pick.
Mitch looks bad on this, they better get a player out of this nightmare of a season or Mitch needs to go. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Past results don't mean (bleep).
And Lakers now can still overtake Orlando due to their flawless tanking as of late.

Well, I mean, it's a coin flip. Just pull out a quarter and call heads or tails xD |

If Clarkson keeps playing like this, the Magic are going to pass us. |

The bottom line is the Lakers can't afford more than one more win this season! |

What happened in the past doesn't affect the odds this year.
If we end up in the 4th spot, we have an 83% chance of keeping our pick.
If we end up in the 5th spot, we have a 55% chance of keeping our pick, |

Every year some team jumps. I think when I was looking 5th was in top 3 once or twice but typically that pick moves to 6th. |

don't think lakers beat denver or sac. Worst case is they win 3 games. I think they might pull one off. |

At Denver and at Sacramento. I just threw the back to back win on the road at Sac for some flavor. I seriously would not be surprised. Were about to lose atleast 4 straight though from the last time I peeked. |

Denver is on the second night of a b2b. Against minni though it's a near guaranteed win. MIN is in super tank mode. We can only hope ORL goes in double tank mode and force the win on MIN. |
