Why does Mitch get a pass for the Nash trade?

let's be honest here. that trade was one of the worst trades Lakers ever made yet I don't see anyone call out Mitch for it. People blame Nash but in reality it wasn't all his fault. That trade no sense at the time, and is even worse a few years later. Nash should have took on a Steve Kerr/ole Gary Payton role and signed for a discount. Why is Mitch getting a past for that Paul Gasol deal? How long has that been now. 8 years
