I say Clarkson for now. I have to see Randles play for half a year before i can make up my mind as to who will be better.

I like Clarkson potential as a 3rd option but the answer is Randle and it isn't close.

I'm hoping Randle turns out to be the better player. ONLY because Clarkson already looks like he can at least be a solid nba player, and if Rande is better than that, we have a good start to a rebuild.

It's not very fair to compare a guard to a power forward and not easy, but i hope that Randle in the long term can be a better player. We'll see

I could see Randle maxing out at 25ppg, 11rpg and 6apg.

I would love to see Clarkson being a 20ppg, 6rpg, 7apg type.

They could be a poor man's version of LBJ/Wade, just add a Bosh type and s bunch of great shooters.

They will both be great.

I don't care which one turns out better. We have both. That's all that matters.

I'd go with Randle for maximum potential, but Clarkson has been a great surprise for me these past few weeks ... and regarding the statistical prognostications above:

If Randle hits 18 - 20 PPG, 8 - 10 rebounds, and 3 - 4 assists with solid defense during the core of his career (which I'm not convinced he can), he will have turned out to be a HUGE success story. (25 - 11 - 6 is HOF production, though it was mentioned as a high water mark / "maximum" of sorts) ...

If Clarkson is similarly able to pull 14 - 15 PPG, 4 - 5 rebounds, 6 - 7 assists, and 1 - 2 steals with solid overall defense (he's pulling better numbers now, but that these will very likely decline when he is forced to share the ball much more in the next few seasons with better talent around him), the 2014 NBA draft will have been an unquestionable homerun for Mitch and the FO. (20 - 6 - 7 would make Clarkson one of the greatest late draft finds ever) ...

Clarkson is a nice surprise. I think Randle can be a cornerstone type player.

Very difficult to compare a big and a small. They're asked to do completely different things out there on the court.

No offense but I think theses comparisons are pretty silly.

without a doubt it has to be clarkson
20-5-5 is what he is ALREADY achieving.

that's borderline all star standard in a right year. randle has superstar potential, but let's face it, every top 10 pick says that.

Clarkson. I think Randle is too injury prone and will have a career like Greg Oden.

Whoa surprised Randle is leading 3 to 1. If Randle becomes the same level of player Clarky is NOW, I'll be thrilled.
