I have mixed feelings about the technical foul. On the one hand, you don't want to see a playoff race decided by something like that. If the Thinder lose to the Blazers while the Pelicans beat the TWolves, it's all over. On the other hand, the league rescinded another one for Westbrook about a week ago. If the league rescinds this one, it makes a mockery of the rule. Is the suspension rule just for non-stars and guys like Rasheed? Furthermore, does Westbrook really have so little self-control? Remember that Kobe walked the line on suspensions a couple times. Westbrook went over the line even though it could cost his team a playoff berth.

This is a tough one, but I'm more in agreement with you. In any case, this softens Westbrook's MVP argument. Can't be putting your team in this kind of position. But the refs can swallow their whistles a bit too. So much on the line, try walking away. T's are called too quickly.
