Russ had 8 assists so that obviously means he is getting other players involved.
The Thunder are a really complete team when Durant and Ibaka are in there, but they aren't right now.
Westbrook has to take over to keep them in games because nobody else on the roster is capable.
You can say they don't move the ball enough, but that's on the coach. They have no offensive system in place. All they call are isolation plays for Russell and KD when he's playing.
Brooks needs to go.

This all just feels so familiar for a certain player. Everything. The entire narrative. From other people not hitting their shot, etc.
Thanks for postin' the Tweet. Reposted elsewhere because what they'll say there.
Yup... if there is a guy I want to take over for Kobe ... Westbrook is it.
It's uncanny... the swagger, the hate, the attitude, the don't give a damn attitude, and the will to win. _________________ #11/08/16 America became GREAT again

I agree westbrooks a beast, I think people are forgetting they picked up and have been playing Kanter who doesn't play a lick of defense. The guy is awful. Look what happened to the Jazz once he left. It's not westbrooks fault they've won just a handful of games since the trade deadline...

Sad that we'd have to trade basically all our assets to get him now, or wait likely until 2017 when he's 29. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Kobe and Westbrook have two of the higher usage rates in the league this season, of course they are going to stick together. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

The Thunder have a coaching staff and at least 4 other players on the court at all times.
Russell Westbrook doesn't have a gun to all their heads demanding the ball.
The coaching staff and his teammates want him to be their savior.
You can't have it both ways.
Everything's gravy when they're winning, but when they're not its Wes's fault? _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

The Thunder were pretty much a three man team that became a two man team when they traded Harden, and are now a one-man team. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Pretty much yeah. And the Thunder FO have nobody to blame but themselves.
They could have had a real great dynasty with Westbrook, Harden, Durant and Ibaka. But instead of wanting to win championships, they took the cheep route.

All they had to do was amnesty Porkins. Unbelievable
Kobe and Westbrook together would be quite comical. Who would take a backseat in that equation? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I know right? They literally chose Porkins over Harden.

And although their reasoning was more about money, it's also a cautionary tale about getting rid of young players too soon as well.

Unfortunately, they do what seems like what a lot of small market teams do....become cheap when they are on the verge of competing for a championship. Phoenix did it when they had Nash, Stoudamire in their primes, and OKC did the same thing when they chose to vote Harden off the island...

It's why I'm constantly on LG telling folks that trading away guys like Clarkson and Randle or the top 5 pick is the biggest mistake you can make in this rebuild.
Unless we traded one of them for Anthony Davis or something, but pulling an OKC will hurt this franchise for the next decade. Or half a decade at the least.

EXACTLY. We'd be completely at the mercy of FA signings. We'd be also more inclined to sign re-tread coaches to handle all the "vets" on the roster too

People have been crying about the FGA's like always and not focusing on the Thunder's defense. They have been horrible defensively ever since Ibaka got injured
