I really thought 2013-2014 was rock bottom. But THIS was even lower. Hope to hell it doesn't go down further. It can only go up from here, right? |
I think we are infinitely better situated now than we were before the start of this season, assuming we get the pick and Kobe and Randle can play at the level we hope they can. |
Agreed. I'm not going to jynx it by saying that this was the "darkest timeline" or that nothing could be worse than this season, because we did that last year and look at the results, but at the same time, I do have some hope that our ship is going to be headed in the right direction. I'm excited for the draft lottery and the draft, as well as free agency. |

So that was a thin slice of heaven. Oh well at least my pretzel was good and it was fun to talk mess with other fans and what have you. I'm still hella glad this season is over. Hopeful for better things to come.
Speaking of which question: I thought our pick was protected what is this I keep hearing about we might be in the top five and we might not? This whole draft process is outside of my realm of knowledge so maybe I'm just not understanding? I'm confused. |

What scares me is that it appears that Lakers have lost its attraction to premier free agents ...
Will the trend continue this offseason? |

Its top 5 protected which means if land at 6 then it goes to Philly. They only way we would have guaranteed to keep the pick was if we had 1 of the 2 worst records. Now it up to the ping pong balls. |

Oh I see. Meps! I thought we were out of the clutches of the ping pong balls.
Thanks kindly for the explanation |

Officially, the team with the worst record in franchise history.
And yet still a better record than 3 other NBA teams this season.
And the team with the most players minutes lost due to injury, not just in franchise history, but the entire NBA this season.
There are far worse teams out there, and far worse players and coaches. _________________ I would rather have questions I cannot answer than answers I cannot question - Richard Feynman |

They better not lose the pick for this year of mediocrity....otherwise better strap in for another season of going nowhere.... |
