I dont think laker fans actually root for warriors. I dont think anyone is going out and buying jerseys, but from all the remaining teams, one must admit, the warriors are the least hateable.

To me they were the 2nd 'least' hateable going in, just after Memphis. Their fans and now the ESPN narrative has made that a lot less though with how much fellating the broadcast is doing over their team.
Today I learned Fez Ezile is a prodigy and would be a starting center on any team lucky enough to have him.
Shaun Livingston is such a poised and offensively potent threat.
Brandon Rush is an all-star in his own right but can't get off the bench...
We get 2 days coverage of Steph's daughter. Steph's dad, mom, his brother. The new ESPN golden boy, he's making their lovefest of Lebron look pedestrian at the moment. |

Are the Rockets winless against the Warriors this season?
I think they are 0 - 7 now, best case is 1 - 6. |

Yeah 0-7. They lost all 4 games in the regular season by double digits.
Make it 0-8 on Monday, Warriors! |

This further proves that Rockets is not a western final qualified team. It was fluke plus the Clippers was abnormal that Rockets came this far.
Well, 0-4 would be a new devastating record for them.
Any guess that Dwight Howard would cry for a change of teammates or even a trade to another team later? |

Rockets are done....
Its one thing to be winless against a team an entire season, its another to be blown out at home in the playoffs. |

So you base which team you root for based on what their fans are like?
I've always based it on the players and coach.

this WCF is pathetic. The real WCF was Clippers vs Spurs first round which was unusual only because the Spurs lost the game against New Orleans that they should have won and put them at 2nd seed with HC. That didn't happen so they became one of the toughest 6 seeds ever because of that 1 game. That should not have been the 1st round match up. You add a freak shot by Chris Paul that he would be hard pressed to make again and he knows it, and this all leads to an undeserving Rockets squad making it to the WCF. Clippers shouldn't have gotten past the Spurs. This is why you have an anticlimactic lopsided WCF. It should have been Spurs vs Warriors and based on how the Warriors are playing who knows what would happen. Eastern Conference just sucks and is abysmal to watch. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

i hope Cavs beat Warriors in the Finals. i mean this should be an easy choice if you're a real Laker fan. you never want any team in your division start a dynasty. if GS wins this year, they're well on their way to become the next dynasty. their team has a good balance of young and veteran, with them winning this year, no doubt Draymond Green would resign, and possibly attracts other FAs go there for cheap. if Warriors loses to Cavs, then there may very well be some uncertainties the team will ever repeat what it has this season. as for the Cavs, sure no one here likes Gilbert and LeBron, but to me at least that's not a dynasty, LeBron is aging pretty fast last couple years, they may very well be his last title if they win out. and since LeBron already won a couple rings, it's kind of numb for me now to root against him for another title. so i would definitely root for Cavs against Warriors. |

Cavs won't get away with their bad defense on the perimeter with Curry and Thompson dropping bombs on them. | Exactly, the Cavs have no one to stop Curry and Thompson. And I'm hoping Iggy does an OK job on Lebron. |
