I would like the see Tom Thibidau coach this team. I think he will one day win a ring, why not with the Lakers?

Of course I would Iike Phil to come back. Randle would be great in the triangle. I assumed he's not coming back though.

Brilliant idea. Let's bring in a coach who runs his players into the ground every year.

Well if we're dealing in the realm of fantasy I'd take Pop.

But in the reality realm, I hope Byron can do better next season.

Messina is intriguing.

Explain why Phil Jackson would leave a position.. where he's getting paid bank.. with a built-in excuse for not being successful so if he does well, it's all on him.. if he fails then.. "oh well" he came into a bad situation.

Add that he doesn't have to travel half as much as he would as the Lakers coach unless you guys still believe that having him at home games while he sends out his "super successful" disciples to do the road games is a viable option lol.

Phil. Jackson. Will. Never. Be. Lakers. Head. Coach. Again.

Mark Jackson-Thibs-Spoelstra...I think players would love, especially FA's would flock here to play for a coach like Mark Jackson.

Thibs would make us instantly better on D and keep us in a playoff hunt, though the way he manages players minutes is crazy at times.

Spoelstra brings championship cache and is a Pat Riley disciple, his style could work here.

Steve Kerr is the ideal coach for the modern day style of basketball IMO.

That said, that list is full of horrible choices then a couple good ones.

Steve Kerr was a smart man refusing the Knicks job to inherit a great Warriors team, now he's got people thinking he is an ideal coach for the modern style of basketball. That's neat.

Yeah the same Warriors team that most thought peaked after their 2013 playoff run.

All of a sudden Kerr actually implements an offensive system that requires much more ball and man movement than Jackson's did and they go from a solid team to a legit title contender.

Yep.

Not just because of the KD connection. I'm just tired of all the retreads.

Scott. Let the man have a couple of seasons and a roster that has some talent. IMO he can rebuild this team, but it will take more then one season.

A big part of the reason the Lakers are such a clusterf**k is the constant shuffling of coaches and players over the last several years. Let them build some stability, continuity and team chemistry.

It will take more patience then most seem to have.

They won 66, maybe 67 games. Give Kerr some credit. That is very hard to do.

Mike Malone and Ettore Messina as assistants.

Scott remains as coach.

I'd like to see what he does with some talent on the team actually.

Run picks and rolls with Clarkson and Randle constantly, with kick-outs to shooters.

That's pretty much his entire repertoire. He's no Phil, or even D'Antoni.
