Is it an FPS?
Will it be like Destiny with matchmaking for missions?
I don't have any of the 2 newer consoles and my laptop probably can't handle the game. Looks amazing though.

| I loved Battlefront II so much, even the crappy PSP version, which I spent the most time on. Not even a big Star Wars fan either. This one looks terrific! |

If I can control a Jedi in Battlefront, I'll ignore the lack of single player campaign.

I heard lightsaber sounds and asthmatic breathing in the Battlefront preview and hands-on down in the Exhibition Hall. Tried to wait in line but they closed the line after a while since it'd be a 5 hour wait and well past closing time. Going for another try later today.

Awesome. Not that big of a Star Wars fan, but I've always found Darth Vader to be badass. Star Wars celebration looked fun. |
It is to a certain degree. Due to overcrowding and convention crew bungles (this is absolutely the worst managed convention I have ever been to), it's been just as awful to many. Long lines just to get into the building that prevents many from entering the early panels (Battlefront panel had a lot of empty seats and not for lack of interest), lines for two different events being merged together for no reason (another reason Battlefront panel had a lot of empty seats), 3 hour lines just to buy stuff, complete underestimation of crowd sizes and wait times, staff not preventing scalpers from taking buttloads of exclusives and limited swag to later sell at inflated prices, and to early closing of events and stores just because the staff didn't know what to do. Gung-ho cops patrolling and roughing up patrons wasn't helping either. But then there are pleasant surprises like random celebrity encounters such as JJ Abrams and Sam Witwer for me, gross incompetence in line management leading to me coming in late and still getting great seats in the live arena for the Ep 7 panel and trailer, etc. So, the stuff there is great...if you can get to them...

Sounds just like Comic Con. My cousin went a few years ago and described it to be almost exactly the way you described SWC. I guess you need thick skin and a lot of patience to really enjoy these types of events(or a lot of money for front of the line passes, etc ) |
