Would have preferred to post this in the draft thread but don't think you can start a poll in an existing thread so... If you had to choose one top SF prospect which would it be?? |

It's either Winslow or Mario Hizzo for me.
I think I might give the edge to Mario since his offense is already refined (shooting particularly) and he has defensive potential. Winslow is a better defender but not as far along offensively. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I'm thinking either Hiz or Winslow too, I tilt towards Winslow but it's close. I'd like to find out more about how well Mario can play without the ball in his hands or how well rounded his skills are outside of his spectacular scoring ability. |

I think Stanley Johnson game will translate the best in the pros. He has that Butler/Artest feel to his game but more athletic. He will be able to come in Day 1 and be a great defender and 3pt shooter. As time goes on he'll develop into that elite scorer. He's a physical specimen 6'8 245 lbs. I think he's going to kill it in the workouts. I think he's the least likely to bust, at worst you're getting a controlled prime Artest who was a top 20 player at one point. He's also comfortable playing off the ball, not ball dominant like the other two.
Hezonja is risky and I'm skeptical about his defense and character. I like Winslow's game, but he started to play great after coach K put him at PF and his shot is not as pure as Stanley's. |

I've tried to have an open mind about Stanley but I just don't see him more than a rotation player, non-superstar. His floor might be high, but I don't think his ceiling is either. I don't see elite scoring at the NBA level given his lack of moves.
Hezonja has already shown NBA ready shooting (Spanish league 3 pointers are almost 1 feet farther back than the NCAA, and he's hitting around 40%). He has the ability to put the ball on the floor and unlike Stanley, FINISH at the rim. His defense is a question mark, but most scouts believe he has the athletic potential to be a defender. His ceiling to be a star is much higher than Stanley's.
Winslow I don't see as being a major scorer in the NBA, but a possible top defender at the 2-4 positions ala Kahwai and in small parts, like Draymond. I don't think his ceiling is high as Hezonja but his floor IMO is greater or about the same as Stanley.
Simply put, if presented with these 3 guys, my gut tells me Mitch goes for Mario. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Hezonja-shouldnt even be an argument. He has superstar potential. Winslow might be a solid 17ppg, 7rpg, 3apg, 2spg, 1bpg though but Hezonja just seems to have that type A personality that will make him a top nba player. Think a crazy athletic Kyle Korver. |

Its a toss up between Mario and Justise, I voted for Winslow just because I saw more of his play and I like good defense. I just can't ignore that Mario, he's got the mentality, skills, and measurables to be a great scorer. |

Mario Herzonja is gonna be a bust in the nba. The only other alternative is he goes to the spurs, or s system that fits his skill set and makes him look better. There's very few systems he'll excel in though. People haven't even seen him play and going off of people's opinions and highlights of him playing against lower level of competition - that's a shame.

For me it has to be Winslow but I admit to not being up to speed on the foreign players, I rely on LG experts for that.
I just love Winslow's effort level, body type and most importantly his basketball IQ. The guy is a very smart player, especially considering his age and seems a step ahead thinking wise compared to his peers.
He also really has no weaknesses in his game that I can see and he appears to be a good kid on top of it and has proven himself against top competition.
Maybe he ends up as our Kawhi (Aztec Legend) Leonard? His D is top notch for his age.
I would love to pair him with Randle, that could be a great combination. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

If we don't get either of the Top 2 picks, I say get Winslow. Good wingspan, great coaching of fundamental skills under Coach K, and already used to high level of competition after the title run. Looks to be physically tougher and stronger than Hezonja or Porzingis, and more willing/ able to check people defensively.
After that, I'd pick Johnson out of Arizona, but he might be a little too heavy (around 245) to keep up with screen-running SFs. |

So what more have you seen than what others have seen? I'm curious since I watched several DX videos on him. That's about it. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
