With Rose showing some resemblence of his former self this is the ideal time for the Bulls to sell high. Do they want to gamble he can remain healthy or get something while they can. With thibs also expected to be shown the door it gives them a chance to start over. The lakers get a former mvp and one of the top points guards in the league when healthy |

No. After Nash and Kobe (of course age is a big difference), no. Just can't fork that many assets to a possible injury situation. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

No.
Can't have a guy who's thinking about staying healthy for the future rigors of his daughter's high school graduation as your franchise. Rose will play about 60 games a year here on out. He'll be the antithesis of Kobe who wants to play every game despite nagging injuries. Rose will sit for every LITTLE thing. You can bank on it.
So, no! |

When has this guy ever been healthy? 2011? I'd rather trade for a 39 year old Nash again.

Even your post implies that Rose isn't worth much because of his injury history and because the Bulls would be trading him when his value is higher (which means he could easily be worth less shortly after the trade is completed).
This sounds like the type of reasoning I've seen from other fans. I remember Spurs fans were saying our front office would make a stupid trade because they made the Nash trade and because Laker fans are too impatient to wait for the team to rebuild. But if you look at some of the threads on this forum, people look forward to seeing how the draft will turn out.
Everyone here knows this team needs to rebuild, and nobody is looking forward to another Nash trade all over again. |

Is the OP a Bulls fan? I think only a Bulls fan would like this trade. |
