And then you watch this and realize Kobe was the more skilled passer.

Kobe wasn't even in the same ballpark as Magic
Magic got 4 of those a game
Kobe got 2 of those a month

Agreed with the quantity.

But I think kobe, with his foot speed and ball handling, had the ability to drop dimes with a higher degree of difficulty. He just preferred to shoot instead.

Kobe is not even in the ballpark of Magic and after Magic, there is a boat load of elite passers that Kobe is not close to.

An all around player and one of the top 5 players of all time, ok, but he's not on the passer list...

I adore Kobe but please.

Magic is my sports idol and he made passing the ball cool as hell.

I still have Magic as my greatest NBA player of all time.

It is all a personal preference of course, but nobody ever was a bigger winner and made his teammates better like that guy.

*Jason Williams (didn't rack up the assists, but he threw some of the greatest passes I've ever seen)

Jason Williams is IMO the most underrated passer ever.... He was one of my favorite guys growing up, I miss that dude and I wish a second coming of him happens.
